Ruck stocks are very thin at the club! I with you DW,obviously only early in the season but could be a very long year.

Dare I say it out loud MD but we will probably have to go with Yukich for the year such is the ruck issue. Time for a boy to become a man!!!

Jason Daniels broke his leg at training last week, his brother Chad is also injured, Anderson was listed in the Budget but didnt play in the Ressies, Shannon Taylor did his knee at training a month ago out for the year, Doc Blakely & Fletcher injured yesterday, Grescos & Erceg both in the stands also didnt play at all yesterday it would be fair to say not a good start to 2016 so far. Anyone know where State 18s boys Levi Ridley & Jake Taylor are as both havent been sighted so far this season?

Was on a flight home from NZ while the game was going so obviously a good one to miss! Shocking news about Doc as he is the one player we could not afford to lose. Wiley seems to have already made an impact with the Sharks and they will be in the mix this year. Still very early days though and we now have 5 games at Bassendean in a row so lets see how we are looking after these. The ruck stocks are a worry but an opportunity for a young guy like Yukich....Well done to East Freo

Funny you should mention that Freezin, but we were staying at a B and B at Christchurch the other night and there was Rugby on the TV ( there is always rugby on the TV in NZ). Unfortunately it was the Force being demolished by the Hurricanes. The lady of the house disclosed that she was a fervent Crusaders supporter and proceeded to show me this massive flag the size of a bed sheet and played the Crusaders song which was a stirring tune that lasted for about 5 minutes. I was thinking "by Christ they take this game seriously".
Well done to your boys yesterday, obviously Wiley is having an impact on the place already.

Hope the 2 injured lads make a fast recovery. One positive with doing a knee so early in the season is he should be right for a full preseason
