Yeah mate it is an ideal opportunity now for Yuk & the other young developing talls at the club to show their wares. I seem to remember this exact same scenario worked out alright for another young fella in Lobb a few years ago when Doc & Lammie were unavailable.

I'd be very surprised if Yukich played before Hodge! We can't have 2 blokes in the team who hardly touch it and Hodge is a lot more versatile than Yukich.

Yeah no doubts mate and I would like to see him develop as a key forward as well using his physical presence but would you call Wheeler & Delahunty bonafide ruckmen as that is who $ubi use there?

If I was Harding this week I would throw young Yukich in and tell him to grab the bull by the horns, get aggressive and put a stamp on the game early, even it means throwing one, I would instruct each and every player to grab his opponent in the ribs before the bounce - EVERYONE - and say " When you go near it c##t your gonna get hurt" we have players who need to be more aggressive like Ansey and Rudi if they pick him, South pushed WP around too easy on Sat, if we let them do it to us we will get our asses handed to us. There is still room for rough and tough footy that sails close to the line - and it wins games

Don't give up on them after one game Mark. Yes they were insipid last week but I think they are capable of a lot more and will show that against Souths this week with a much better effort. I think this year is going to be a lot more interesting than 2015 with an even race for the top 5.

despite the stupid comments from our coach last week the player we cant replace is Davis, he wouldnt have let those East Freo blokes cruise around last week with no pressure, he would have tackled his backside off to get us back in the game then kicked a few goals as well.
no forward pressure and without Broad no run from the half back line.
and now no ruckman..
without our backline last week we would have lost by a 100 points, long time since I have seen us play so poorly.
