Kaos wrote: Not at all just asking you to back your statements up. If you make comments about Harding re the Wes stuff back it up. Don't get personal just support your argument. By the way that bloke Harding who is the cancer at our club did get coach of the year last year. Don't back down because you have had plenty to say about the Football department so back it up.

Yeh I dare say the whole WA football community was in shock with that announcement.

I havent backed down Kaos, you were asking me to repeat things we have all disucssed above and in other threads. I never mentioned the word cancer did I?

I offered my informed opinion on the Lammie situation in another thread, then expanded it to what i think about the Football department. None of that was personal. Except the lying part, which is common knowledge amongst us long time members/supporters. I then stated the wins are good and have come from talent. Which you disagreed with and I respect you opinion.

the whole Lammie thing is still a bit strange..
the fact that he would give up a chance for a flag over a disagreement with the coach is something i dont understand..

Didnt see the side .. Hey Leedy I dont suppose the thought has crossed your mind that CLA might of been saving a bit for Tuesday Night Foxtel Cup game?
Thier position on the WAFL ladder is certainly not at risk B)

Ahaha they were at full strength mate, and if you seriously reckon they were saving themselves for the Foxtel whocares Cup then I suggest you go and have another bourbon, they were trying their guts out to get back in it in the last term and in the 3rd got to within 8 pts, but in the end they couldn't withstand our inside pressure, something we know they don't like and it was a lesson to all other sides on how to beat Claremont, even more meritorious that it was on their dunghill. They havnt had a footy lesson like that since rd 3 last year v East Freo

SD, your mob are finally playing the way they should with the list you have and are now serious threats in September if they can remain consistent, but you may have forgotten what my erratic mob did a few weeks ago to Claremont to inflict their first loss, it was all about fierce inside pressure and tackling, I think a few coaches may have looked at that as a blueprint on how to beat them. It was the first football lesson they received this year and your mob dished out the second using much the same game plan. Well done to Harding for picking up on that tactic, many have tried it against Claremont but only 2 have succeded!!

S/s after witnessing what I consider to be one of the worst games, if not the worst, I have ever seen between Swans and Subiaco in their first match this year; it was inconceivable that Subiaco, or Swans, could have been Claremont this season. However, victories against Claremont are predicated on the desire to work hard and to impose a physical presence on Claremont. Which is what we did on Saturday and presumably as you said what Subi did also.

Claremont are a very, very good team if allowed to play open and unaccountable footy.

Sorry i was referring to sides in finals contention and 10pts is hardly a lesson , but a win is a win and well done Subi on that win
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

Beware of the myth that we are so vulnerable to physical pressure. We've played in 3 grand finals and are a good chance for a fourth. Surely that suggests we're pretty good at absorbing physical pressure and giving it back. Yes, Swans did it better on saturday, obviously. But isn't putting intense physical pressure on the ball carrier just a basic footy rule no matter what the level, who the opponent, or whatever the occasion?

Did you witness Saturdays game? Did you witness our 2 wins v you last Year by 6 pts and 12 pts (after leading by 33) How did we win those games? In a way that Claremont don't like = inside footy, simple as that. Swan42 is right when he says if Claremont are allowed the easy outlet out the back and a nice free running game they will carve you up generally although I think Saturday also showed we are unmatched in pace over the ground. We just need to keep backing it up otherwise it might mean shite finishing 5th. Claremont still favourites

SD if anyone was reading this for the 1st time they would think you blokes were dead set certainties about winning this years flag and far and away the best side in the comp instead of holding onto 4th spot by the skin of your teeth & only shown some form in the last 2 weeks. What about earlier in the year when you were going to lynch this one and sack this one, very short memory. It was only in the 1st game on your own dung heap you had you arse's whipped and now you return the favour, well done. But 2 games don't make a season, let's see how you go from here on in.
