CLA have the GF in the bag by the way... He Swannies dont forget Subi beat them as well... What do they say "ON ANY GIVEN DAY"
Webby would be panicking by any means...

Now CLA have to lose 3 and other clubs have to win at least 4 straight..
Yeh ok... CLA 2 chances in the finals... lose both.. shit be real

Yet to see West Perth dismantle Claremont this season, and i can assure you they will be fearing us more than anyone else after today!

Swandog, your mob must have played a very impressive last quarter from the scores. Impressive result, backing up from your flogging of Perth last week.

Do you know the story behind Murray Newman storming out of the ground at quarter time?

No i dont know, all i overheard at the urinals at half time was a family member told him at Qt there was a family issue, but no point speculating
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

I think you'll find that swans got a fair few frees in their forward line BH? Umpiring was terrible, usually always is, but its something we all just gotta deal with, bad umpiring is here to stay.
Swans just too good yesterday, always had a loose man, too much pace, slick skills... Jeez Garletts good. Didnt get alot of the ball yesterday but is more slippery than an eel and worries the hell out of defenders.

Don't think fear will come into it, just that you boys are getting your game together. Claremont will have a very healthy respect as always for Swans and I would be thinking that the match review DVD would be getting a hammering this week. But one game doesn't make a season and yesterdays shake up couldn't have come at a better time, coz we needed it.

Cardy, what are you boys on up at Joondy you shouldn't be able to use a key board the way the phraseology is appearing on the screen.

Ol Boy I still think Claremont are the team to beat as a 13-2 record & top spot by 3 wins would indicate & the Tigers are the best team I have seen in the 30 odd games of WAFL I have witnessed this year
..I just take exception to a WP supporter not even at the game "commenting" or more like shit stirring that Claremont layed down when those of us there at Claremont Oval yesterday saw first hand how hard Claremont worked to get numbers back behind the ball then slingshot forward when they won possession, especially in the 3rd qtr were the Tigers ran themselves ragged to kick 6 goals to Swans 2 to give them a sniff at 3 qtr time, hardly the signs of a side apparently "laying down" & not too mention the healthy rivalry between the 2 clubs were we know how much Claremont love to beat Swans!

I also forgot to mention that Swans were down to 1 fit player on the bench in the 2nd half.

Yes I was listening to the injury toll and thinking it must be a tough game, you guys had injuries early but pushed through, we got them late and couldn't go with you guys in the last qtr plus you were one down for the last 3 qtr's making rotations tough. Always have thought Swans are the side we use as our yard stick as to how we are travelling, and we now have some homework to do, looking forward to the next encounter. Going by the stats Jones did his best work yesterday but I believe he hobbled off as well in the last, our only real goal scorer.

Without WP on the park I wanted to see just how these two antagonists would match up
My observation is that Swans are moving closer to the dangerous side and Claremont may have been finally found out - that's not to say they weren't being tested hard over the last weeks (almost into submission) - sure a win is a win ...but the Tiger armour is becoming as brittle as Tony Abbotts policy on Asylum Seekers .... and just as Wet
I enjoyed the way the Black Ducks kept their resolve throughout and did not give up when Claremont flooded and did their best to rally
I also enjoyed some of SD's lesser lights as players put their all in!! - A couple of the as I call them, paper stars didn't always contribute their best but I have said before that there are many who live on the give and supply of others and when it comes to getting themselves, in and under - head over the ball and all - they falter!!
Well done to the Ducks - I had a great day and enjoyed the footy
Pity about the falling star Eagle walkout!! When was the last time a player said nothing! to no-one! and walked away....!! Hang on - Auskick
