Seems like quite a few of us were down at the game on Saturday. Well done fellas. Seeing as a few of us were there can anyone elaborate as to what exactly was the issue the old bloke from the Tiges( possibly the ground manager)was having around the interchange area. At one stage he got the security guard involved which I found bewildering as it seemed he wanted the guard to step in and solve some issues between both benches support staff. Anyone know???

I agree with nearly all of mikes points. Fantastic win for Swans but it was a must win game for us and meant nothing (as far as ladder position goes) to Claremont. They definitely didn't lay down and fought it out but their level of motivation didn't look as strong as ours in the first half.
I would expect them to be harder to beat in a few weeks time when we go back there.

..I just take exception to a WP supporter not even at the game "commenting" or more like shit stirring that Claremont layed down when those of us there at Claremont Oval yesterday saw first hand how hard Claremont worked to get numbers back behind the ball then slingshot forward when they won possession, especially in the 3rd qtr were the Tigers ran themselves ragged to kick 6 goals to Swans 2 to give them a sniff at 3 qtr time, hardly the signs of a side apparently "laying down" & not too mention the healthy rivalry between the 2 clubs were we know how much Claremont love to beat Swans!

I also forgot to mention that Swans were down to 1 fit player on the bench in the 2nd half.

And 1 fit player who had sooked it and gone home. Maybe you should have let the eagles send him to East Perth then you wouldn't have the problem. He is very overrated anyway from what I've seen.

When sides are second to the footy all day and shown up in hardness and pace mate they will always look less motivated, they (Clare) tried their guts out and werent good enough, any other thought is just ridiculous , and the next game v Clare has Zero bearing on the weekend just gone. If they happen to beat us next time whats going to be said then? " Oh Claremont were switched on today and showed their true colours etc etc" bla bla bla rubbish and if we win then what? " Claremont were saving themselves for finals etc" utter crap! We were too good on the day v a full strength Claremont, end of story, full stop.
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

I was sitting behind the interchange area DW and I didn't get the whole drift of it but it appeared that the Claremont old bloke was upset because he thought that Swans players were encroaching into the Claremont area when they came on and off the ground. He was pointing his finger and one of the Claremont runners got involved and loudly called the Swans interchange guy an obscene name which got all the Swans fans fired up. The security guard then came down and talked to the Swans guys. All pretty childish and unprofessional particularly by the runner.

Mac you cant have it both ways when we win it was the players and when we lose it is the coach. You obviously have a bee in your bonnet about something . I hope you are not one of the Swan Athletic players that SDFC club kicked out for bad behaviour. I have no interest as stated don't care if Harding coaches or not just that are our great club has success I would have thought we were all on the same team. Did you know that only nine of the players that played against Claremont were in the premiership team of 2010. So maybe Harding and his team had something to do with getting the other 13 into the league team . I would also remind you under Hardings guidance as Colts coach we had more players drafted than at any other time of the club. Grow up and be fair. If not state proper examples of your issues make sure they are factual.

Kaos, did you read my last comment? I was excited about the win and think the winning is great. I am too old to be playing football my friend and I wish you would tell me who got kicked out of SDFC for behaviour? and where you have this information from? I have done some asking around and no former swans playrs at the other club I support were kicked out? Maybe another Harding spin/lie like his version of events with Lammie?

Lets tie off the argument by saying I have been hard on the footy department but winning is good and I have said why I think they are winning, dont think I am not happy about that.

I along with Singleton have given out accounts of the Lammie situation on other threads, some ended up being deleted, lets not go over old ground, everyone is sick of talking about it.

I am still intrigued on these three players who were kicked out? Surely no one has done worse than some of the current players antics..... And the club has taken on board Kane Goodwin.. As a supporter I havent heard any news of players being "kicked out"

You seem to be on a witch hunt here Kaos, you told old Mac Attack off for stating things of "opinion" not fact. So stop bantying around these silly remarks.

Not at all just asking you to back your statements up. If you make comments about Harding re the Wes stuff back it up. Don't get personal just support your argument. By the way that bloke Harding who is the cancer at our club did get coach of the year last year. Don't back down because you have had plenty to say about the Football department so back it up.
