Once again SD have come up well short well actually we went to water when the heat goes on playing one of the top 4 sides.
We have not beaten any of SU, CL, SF or WP I can remember in the last 5 or 6 years and surely the heat has to go on whoever is responsible for this horrendous record.
The lack of any sort of physicality let alone our unbelievably poor skill level and decision making yesterday was absolute amateur status and many of the SD crowd who did show up yesterday will not be back until SD are a genuine contender again which may not be in some of our lifetimes unless we get some people in the club that are absolutely ruthless in their pursuit to winning big football games!

In the lowly years at Subi we did beat clubs from time to time-- as you know Beae-- we did not employ coaches whose records were poor for more than three years.

I think part of the problem we have with our delivery into the forward line is that on many, many occasions there is a significant imbalance between the number of forwards we have compared to the number of defenders they are up against.   Invariably we are outnumbered. I certainly agree we should be using our elite kicks into the forward line.

some very good colts / youth down below mate - it's a great base to have up the sleeve just hope they don't get raffled by the Vic shit in the next couple of years hey

Mate we always do have great Colts coming through but they inevitably get snaffled up by the afl mob.
Along with CL & EF we can actually make up a full team of current afl listed players from SD.

42 the delivery into the forward line was woeful on Saturday but it was all over the ground as well. How many times did you see foot passes either fall short at the oncoming players feet or go way over their head or be intercepted by a WP player who was in the vicinity. It is a combination of poor skill and poor decision making that has not improved one iota in the last 4 years, and we will probably get another 2 more years or more of that same rubbish dished up on the weekend judging by last weeks announcement!

42 out of interest what did you think of Waite's performance on the weekend?

I should add as you werent there he was "as good" the game before against Peel as well!

Is this the same m.i.a. Swan 42 who was questioning why more WP supporters didn't turn up to the game?

We didn't lose because of one player's individual performance.  If you would like me to be a little controversial (unusual for me) and I have the greatest respect for his commitment to our club and he may well become our club's games record holder, one could question Notte's decision to kick backwards several times during the game?

More generally I have certainly not been the number one supporter of Pickering's time at Swans.
