Laddies calm your troubled hearts. The munchers couldn’t win this game if they started now. Swans Are in form and west Perth with injuries is enough for a easy win. And
with the great tony Notte playing a milestone game I can see 8 plus here.

what happened Marley? The game started Saturday lol

I'm back to eat humble pie after a day of gnawing on my terry towelling hat with a bottle or two of rose' for lubrication. How West Perth won that match is a modern miracle of the biggest proportions. I would doff my hat to the munchers if I had one left to doff laddies.

Marley, well done, what a bloody good response. More blokes like you and me, the world would be a better place. At least on the Swans site, its all good stuff. Keep well all.

Well after a promising start to the season with 18 goals (conceding 20 though) and some great end to end fast flowing footy it has been brought down to earth and current football reality in the last few weeks with 17 goals kicked in our games between both teams (10 to 7 last week) and a pitiful 9 to 8 this week.
If that shit continues that will be me done from the WAFL until we go back to high scoring as I refuse to continue to watch low scoring, boring soccer type games!

What an abysmal last quarter that was, Swans just stepped aside and allowed West Perth to take the game. How do you cough up a 5 goal lead in the 3rd quarter in Tony Nottes 250th? Unbelievable really. Credit to West Perth who just kept plugging away when they were having some real issues in the first half. It eventually came good for them and they rolled all over us in the final term. Riddoch didn't do much but his 3 goals absolutely killed us.

The only 3 players who stood out for the whole game were Anderson, Cipro and Gault. Whoever was on Fisher did a great shut down job on him and we just had too many passengers on the day. If anyone can tell me how the coaching staff rate Sideris as a league standard player can you please let me know the reasons? He is too small, is pushed aside too easily and his disposals put his teammates under pressure.

Today just reiterates that even though Swans have improved we still have a long way to go. We are 6th on the ladder and all the teams we have beaten are below us.
Spackman was our only 4 qtr performer/winner imho Mike.
He held the dangerous Knott goalless yesterday.

Cipro would have been as well but for some unknown reason our coaching staff didnt have him in the all important centre square for bouncedowns (where he is our best clearance midfielder) in the last qtr and had him in the forward 50 instead   whilst Nelson, Black, West etc won centre clearance after centre clearance in the last qtr!!

Marley just remember when you support Swans we have some low lows but we also have some high highs.

One would assume by most of Marley's posts that he must be a newcomer to SD/WAFL football.
For anyone to think SD would go to Joondalup (where we have struggled to win since inception) to play against WP (who we invariably struggle against since 1934) and win by 8+ goals (when we actually only kicked 8 goals for the whole game) must not have any idea on our recent history where for most of the last 30 years we have bumbled along on the field and rarely beaten a Top 4 side let alone away from home!
Hence why Saturdays result was no surprise to those who look deeper into our shortcomings than a current ladder position.
Leading up to Saturday WP has also played all of the other members of the established WAFL Top 4 excluding themselves so far in SF, SU & CL and bar the CL game were pretty good and unlucky vs SU.
We also have a handful of our best players out at the moment and have struggled to cover that for years with shallow depth!

Maby Rick is the best to answer this question.Just wondering who is Swans historical bogey team, since 1934.
A rough guess saids East Fremantle
East Perth or West Perth.I was told Swans didn't beat West Perth at Leederville for over 25 years. This century it's defently Subiaco.
