That really is disappointing about Kohlmann, geez just when a bloke was hitting his straps regularly and even when he didnt get his hands on it presented a strong target

SD Kohlmann looked the goods when we played you blokes, a serious target up forward, had some presence about him.

Yes as I said before Kohlmann would have been a real big part of the forward line if he had decided to play, but I suppose it opens up an opportunity for a young bloke to show his wares and Noble is also a good mark and kick as well. Matt Riggio will spend a fair bit of his time down forward and I think Notte will be used a lot there as well. Also the new recruit Jesse Palmer looks like he might be a pretty good forward as well having played in that position for most of his career

Hopefully BH et al may be able to provide a summary of how we go in the first scratch match for those not able to get there.  The forecast is for around 27 C so that should be a good test of our fitness levels.  Hopefully we will have a forward structure that allows us to be able to kick winning scores this season.
