Let's count spoons next....anyone game to list those?....Whichever way we spin the stats...both sides have been deplorable since the millennium.... both sets of fans are keen for a change of fortune....bring on the footy.....only way to settle this banter I guess.

Since 1966 it’s 6 v 5.
We have been about same for a long long time. Not that impressive.

Wow just one more flag than us since 1966 and this mob gloats about how much better they are. Well well well that puts things into a more realistic context. 6 flags in 54 years, that's really impressive and what is it? None in 22 years?

But 5 flags since you last won one. It does strike me as slightly odd to be hectored over a 22 year flag drought by someone supporting a club who have not once even made the finals in that time.

I see another couple of ex Peel boys are on EF playing list....Harrison Tyler who played for Peel v WP in the finals back in 2015....been playing for Collegions in the ammos of late....and a Deon Whelan who played in Peels colts GF loss to Cl last year...Tyler is 25 and Whelan 18....anybody know any more about them?....I see Chris Scott is still listed at 99...been there the whole preseason despite players coming on and off the list....any reason why?...chance of returning?....or trade bait for another deal?

STT....every year you Perth boys have over dressed your pig preseason....here on Ozfooty....for years on Footygoss before that....only for it to be defrocked by midseason....tho last year I bet you were well n truly getting out the ole lipstick deep into that Peel last gasp loss....could be the year of the Perth pig wearing lipstick this year mate....law of averages I guess

Well spotted. Quite a Peel presence now with Bray and Tassone joining in 2018. Tucker, Tyler and Whelan so far in 2019. Don't think thats the end of it quite just yet.

I guess with Brad Dodd being Peel's colts coach for a few years helps...obviously with Peel aligned to Freo, lots of these guys will be looking elsewhere to play their footy....

Here you go again banging on about records from the last century. Beam these EF flogs up Scotty and into the 21st century FFS laddy!

Seems to me that the “flog” here DD may well be you. You don’t want to talk about EFFC history, but you’d be easy to engage in a convo about anything red and black as far back as you like. You also often live in “the glory days of the WAFL”. That was all last century mate, come on Scotty, beam these Perth flogs up into the 21st century FFS laddie!!!

Who doesn’t reminisce about the glory days of the WAFL? Those of us that were lucky enough to witness it. But you EF flogs reminisce about glory days your grandfathers, great grandfathers and great great grandfathers lived through. Stop using my material. :P

At least us EF folk were old enough to celebrate the 1990s with a few premiership beers DD....not once, but 3 times....unlike you, who has never even tasted a celebratory premiership beer in your years of supporting Perth...just don't think a Mr Whippy soft serve cone cuts the mustard TBH....

I bet the great granddads amongst your Perth Ozfooty clan in Smokester, DF etc no doubt reminisce daily about supping premiership beers during the glory years of the 60s and 70s...though pretty sure their granddads, pre WW2, were probably like you DD back in the 70s...tucking into celebratory spam sandwiches instead of a Mr Whippy treat....still waiting, wondering and hoping for premiership glory...wonder if they had a Masto effect back then to latch on to?

Is this a generalised comment, Wright or are the Sharks chasing someone else?

There is a heavy Peel presence at EF. There always has been as well.

You leaving out the 80's freezer? Back in the 80's and 90's you probably only had Swan Lager, Swan Gold and Fosters on tap. When we next taste success we'll have a bevy (pardon the pun) of Lagers, Ales, Ciders and Scotty Spalding's finest wines to savour the victory with. It will taste even sweeter if it's a repeat of 1977.
