I think Perth’s in’s and outs could be looking not as rosy as some think.
Clint Jones is a huge loss even at 35 years old. If we also lose Leggett, Ninyette and Bennell then we are down on last season. If Bennell’s form continued the way he finished last season then he is no loss, but who knows. Masten the only major in at this stage.

Here we go again. If Ninja is contracted, SF will have to give us something worthwhile. That said, he is not nearly as valuable as Leggett ,in my opinion, and a decent transfer fee - no, not the same that would apply if he wasn't contracted - may get the job done. He was poor last year, very undisciplined and kicked only 17 goals in 14 games. To be fair, he probably suffered from not having a tall forward to crumb to, but I think he is eminently replaceable.

Leggett would a loss , no doubt. Ninyette and Bennell on the other hand are more than covered by some of the new recruits. Masten aside..he is a huge get, the other recruits will be no less effective than those two. An improvement IMO
Changes had to happen. We could not go on with just what we had. Who would be screaming the loudest if we did not bring in new blood.

Spot on Smokey, you can’t keep rolling with the same players and expect different results. Move Ninyette and Leggett on, spend the money wisely (Clarke) and bring in Murphy and a couple of others who are desperate to play.

Durack Tucker finally on EFFC players list allocated number 19...whilst there is a Jacob Ingham from Eaton Boomers on EF list allocated number 49. Looks like number 5 is free still for EF next recruit....hopefully they have a booming right foot and live in close proximity to the oval.
