Agree KC...that ex Perth spud Wiley totally farked up EF list..thus the Monaghan clean out.....as for my "desperate" bid to swap Quill for Leggett Smokester?...any person with half an IQ can see I am and have been taking the piss in all this....ha ha seriously Smokester you are a farking hoot mate...tho I have heard there are few EF players on the table for the Leggett tsf...be funny if Quill was one of them.....LOL

With all the success you rave about Freezin from your colts premierships and long list of players drafted how come you can’t turn that into league success? I mean they don’t all get drafted and you must have a shed load that don’t make it and get delisted. What, they don’t want to come back? Hard to understand how all this premiership winning colts success doesn’t translate to some success at league level and so many want to leave or not return.

The writing was on the wall for Jayden Quill when he was not selected in the reserves elimination final win. Injuries brought him into the side for the following week and he played well in the demolition of Subiaco.
No doubt EFFC thinks is surplus to their needs and would be trying to trim it's list back too I feel.

DD...a lot don't return because they have long arse careers in the AFL...whilst a few delisted boys opted playing for Subi because of their finals success and money e.g. Chick, Read, Menagola and Marsh...those who did return played finals under Malaxos...and some got hammered in the Wiley whitewash, but hopefully Monaghan can change all that...as for colts success...2-3 years after the 2010 success EF played in 2 GF and a prelim....so with Spud Wiley now gone, hopefully Monaghan can see similar success post the 2017 colts flag...time will tell eh?

Speaking of Menegola Freez...he's out of contract at the end of 2020 and at 28 might struggle to get another one unless Geelong offer him an extension. He'd be very handy back in the WAFL as he seemed to be out of favour a bit with the Cats this year with injuries and a drop in form being the main reasons. EF should make a play to get him as I don't think Subi can under the new recruiting rules imposed by the WAFC on the club.

I'd be surprised if Menegola was cut at the end of next season at age 28. He's a steady player at AFL level and I think with Geelong having quite an old team he will get another two years at least.

BC surely with Menagola being an ex Subi player as well, Subi are allowed to recruit the fella back? Not sure Sam has any inclination to play for EF....jumped ship post Freo delisting to Subi pretty quick....Taylor and Kennedy are the two I would like to see back at EF for a season at least post AFL.

No mate... he'd be a 12 point player me thinks and would have to replace someone of equal value which is why we can't get Zac Clarke back for the same reason.
