Not sure who were the rucks for Perth in 1992 - hope they were a whole lot better than Ian Newman.

Toby Jackson and Stephen Pears emerged around that time. Turned out to be two very good ruckmen, Pears finished up at SF.

Yeah from memory Oooll, Newman snagged himself a premiership....along with the Spalding boys.....obviously Forman in 85....who else from Perth jumped ship to EF and won themselves a flag?...did Gibellini play in both Perth's 76 & 77 flags?...he made the right choice jumping ship from EF to Perth after his 74 flag win under Todd....

Steve Lally in 94 Freeze?
Not sure if Allard or Moir played in any of the 90s flags after crossing over from Lathlain Park?

Lally in 94 did but alas not for Allard and Moir. Allard I'm pretty sure was in the 2000 GF side that lost to the weagles reserves/East Perth.
Newman made a cameo comeback to the Sharks in 94 and played in the reserves premiership - that would be the last time the club would have done that double.

And Freez, yep Gibellini did play in both 76 & 77 at Perth - he may also played in Perth's last illustrious GF side in 78 in which Cable and Miller et al took such enjoyment out of.

Robbie Hooker was a beauty you blokes are giving him no love. Might have won the reserves F&B in the comp and Perth. Another couple of Perth players tried their luck and shark shit Park recently Joel Kalajzic and I think another. Did you deny him a flag? Shame on you.

And Linc Gibellini eanded up at the Sharks for a stint.

Shame big Ian Newman was only rucking in the twos to a flag in 94 but Justin Sanders had a pretty big year and carried the ruck alone without much support (although the likes of Condon and Abbott would have shared the load).

Although tough on Sanders with the likes of Pears, Jackson et al developing at other clubs since 92...at the end of the day he did a sensational job leading the ruck and East Fremantle to the flag in 94 and having Newman as back up in the reserves leading the ruck there and a flag also.
