I could be wrong but got a feeling they dropped it down to 10k max a few years ago so the poorer clubs could afford to recruit. Why would we give you a contracted and talented young player? Just not gonna happen. And hopefully someone sits down with Cody and helps him see the light. He just missed kicking the winning goal that would have seen us play finals in the dying seconds of the last game against Peelmantle.

That should be driving Cody to go one better next year, in Perth colours.

You have to be joking... all fringe players at very best. Sandilands could not run out of sight in a blizzard.

KCEF, it's overstating things to say we "took" Tropianao. It's well known he was a fringe player at the time because you had a strong midfield. Most of the time recruiting fringe players doesn't work, as with many guys on our list currently, but occasionally, with Tropiano and Giblett, it pays off. And I understand that contracts mean little in footy, but what it does is gives us bargaining power. If you want Leggett, it will cost you more than a transfer fee, and more than a fringe player. Otherwise, you'll have to bide your time until he's out of contract.
