After being associated with and reporting on the WAFL for as long as he has it really is quite astounding how little he does know.
It is not only the fact he is ignorant, but he goes out of his way to show everyone how ignorant he is, which in reality makes him an ignoramus.

Lots of youngsters in the team to play WCE tomorrows....great to see Bailey, Davidson and Scott get a run.....would like to think these 3 guys will put some pressure on the likes of Winton and Jupp to earn their spot in defence this year....all three are 193cm+ and 20-22 years old. Manning debuts as well, so hopefully he gets thru unscathed.....also great to see Watson in the ruck and Milan Murdock playing....pity the latter is suspended for round 1, sounds like from Monaghans radio interview that Murdock is a lock for round 2 selection. Also young colt Sharpe gets a run, U/18 AA last year, if plays well, could be a smokey to debut v Cl perhaps

No Boekhorst, but could still get up for next week on managed minutes apparently. Nice to squeeze a win before the season kicks off, but I guess WCE will have a fair few of their boys playing as the AFL is up n running....Waterman and Brander will be a good test for the likes of Bailey, Scott and Davidson....not far away now....

Bailey gives good run out of the back line, Scott is an excellent reader of the play. But i think both well short of the strength of Jupp and Winton. Murdock seems to have the important ability of getting his hands on the pill a fair bit. Matthew Burton has quite impressed in his 2 pre-season appearances. Surprised Dion Anthony isn't getting a run tomorrow as he was pretty solid last week.

I reckon that this FF2 bloke is pretty considered and insightful, he certainly does seem to have a handle on things. Great to hear his views and it is certainly refreshing tom hear from someone who isn't the type who would need their Mum to stand up for them.

Going by pre season form I would say Bill has not made any difference to the on field performance of the Sharks.

Experienced coaches use preseason to play with player positions & game tactics and to access players abilities with game plans - Bill I believe is on of them.

Why don't we see how the season proper opens up before rash statements are offered?

Maybe not result wise but the style of football they play is much more direct. Anyway best reserve judgement at this stage - we haven't put anything near our best 22 on the park yet.

FF2 I think Freezin might be Billy's ghost writer. Either that or Captain Freeze really is the caped crusader I called him out to be. Faster than a speeding bullet he zips between Moss st and Christchurch NZ to oversee the progress of everyone on the playing list. Lol
