Leedy tell all mate.....obviously you heard it all and you found it amusing....tell all mate....

100% Freeze, Monaghan will make it happen, make no mistake but it was like de javu there on Saturday so a bit to work on. I regards to the two players concerned, they were having a crack at each other about communication (ironically) out on the field regarding a particular play but they were "F"ing and blinding which is not a good look is what i was referring too, Members and young blokes (which EF have plenty of) don't need to hear that stuff, not a biggy just with a mention.

Cheers Leedy.....I guess when you are getting your arse handed to you on a plate, emotions and frustrations can run high....be interesting to see how Monaghan can turn EF fortunes(or misfortunes) around......without George Hampsons 30 possessions too.....LOL

Leedy wrote: I agree with many points above regarding EF. I thought they were a step behind us all day and we did look good and will be there a bouts again this year. Your defence is a big concern, once again two of your players were having a massive crack at each other but this time it was on the bench for all your Members to see and hear, not a good look (Eardley and Jupps). Your Mids are going to get beaten more often than not I reckon, you will win games off the back of your 3 big blokes, you would want to pray that there are few wet days with that tall timber up forward.

WP had the following players out which augers well for us- Nelson, King, Moulton, Mills, Guadignan, Munns.

Good to get a view from the outside looking in, so our problem is the mids, the backs and the 3 big blokes (though they actually look alright?). Not many members (or anyone for that matter) there yesterday so best keep the Jupp Eardley rift to yourself - why do I always miss these sort of things? EF had the following player out which may not auger so well for us- Dion Anthony.

Ti-Em,

I could post a more positive response for you if it would make you feel better mate. I actually said you will win games off the back of your 3 x talls, your backs were 100% shit and your mids are too slight in frame and (my thoughts only) is that your midfield would rank 7th or 8th in the comp.

Post what you like Leedy and your comments are appreciated. Our midfield is an area that needs to improve sharpish. It let us down again on Saturday and we were well beaten in that area. Couple that with our 100% shit backs, shouldn't your lot be scoring more than 3 goals in a half?

Possibly, we kicked 2.7 in the 1st Im pretty sure so our poor kicking kept you in the game but it was our very first hit out and we scored 13 goals in the 2nd half so irrelevant really :)

11 goals in the 2nd half but point taken - we could of easily been further behind at half time. There was a strong SW breeze too maybe even some pressure from our boys contributed. Water under the bridge now - it will be interesting to see what this season brings.

Footyfan2 wrote: Leedy your footy knowledge is second to none. West Perth Players have a great confidence, comarade, pride, culture - they’re a team that play for each other, always team first, for example team plays, structures, systems etc. Yes, Great coaching staff over the years at WP. I can’t see huge improvement from EFFC They’re relying on guys like Boekhurst and Manning, who have not played for 12 months to come out and play as good as Black and Nelson. Sorry but they are not in the same class. Culture is poor at EFFC

For heavens sake. Again you go on with your endless negativity bagging our club. I think you’re pulling our puds and I don’t believe you’re a Sharks supporter. I think you’re only here to stir the pot. And if the culture was poor agt 5he club, it’s because of people like Mr FF.
Having said that, the moderator will probably delete my post ....again.

Interesting comments FF2

Lets not forget the time it takes for players/team to understand a new coaches structure or altered game plan.
There is the fact that good coaches will during Scratchie's play players out of position to see how they react and perform & blood those who haven't stepped up to league yet or as often as they might.

'Yes' both players mentioned haven't played in 12 months (injury) but as for class?? - The AFL obviously disagrees regards Boekhurst and with Manning, he plays as a defensive back or pressure forward, apples & oranges in comparison to Mid's - (higher profile not necessarily better players) but that's all relative really.

Assessing the EFFC culture this early on with New Coaches - team changes, admin changes etc seems a little far reaching - but maybe you have a different agenda here?

Every one has an opinion, agreed with or not it adds colour to a conversation

Boekhorst is better than both Marsh and Hampson. You obviously haven’t seen him play

You mustn’t have been around the past 3 years also, the 2 most demonstrative players at EF onfield were Marsh and Hampson.

Boekhurst is a very talented footballer but there is a reason Carlton dumped a no.19 draft pick after 3 years and its nothing to do with footy ability..

25 games in 3 years after being drafted at 21 years of age... that would be around 25 more than Georgey will play, then again there is no way poor old George was ever going to get drafted. Not sure why one got 'dumped', bit more informed about why another never got a go in first place.
But who knows, if George can have a cracking year, get his personal training regime sorted etc then the mid season draft may await a player of his caliber.

Boekhorst and Manning if fit surely cover Hampsons loss easily..and who is to say George won't get injured, he missed a fair few games at EF till last year.....whilst Strnadica for me will cover Marsh going tall wise....he and Loersch could be very dangerous if on song up front...Marsh tho up back for EF would of been handy......either of them.
