Your defence is a big concern, once again two of your players were having a massive crack at each other but this time it was on the bench for all your Members to see and hear, not a good look (Eardley and Jupps). Your Mids are going to get beaten more often than not I reckon, you will win games off the back of your 3 big blokes, you would want to pray that there are few wet days with that tall timber up forward.

WP had the following players out which augers well for us- Nelson, King, Moulton, Mills, Guadignan, Munns.

Good to get a view from the outside looking in, so our problem is the mids, the backs and the 3 big blokes (though they actually look alright?). Not many members (or anyone for that matter) there yesterday so best keep the Jupp Eardley rift to yourself - why do I always miss these sort of things? EF had the following player out which may not auger so well for us- Dion Anthony.

So WCE reserves are EF last game before the season starts....Interesting to see who gets a run with no reserves game then......would like to believe the mids output would improve with Manning and Boekhorst on the park....and if Kommer ever gets over his injuries too.....would love to know how many games WP Black and Nelson have missed through injury over their careers....their durability must be 2nd to none....take them out of WP midfield and WP mids would be less potent.....

If true, disappointing to hear two players of the leadership group having a crack at one another mid match....hopefully Monaghan puts any of that behaviour to bed pretty smartly.....have every faith he will/would. Does anyone know how the colts and futures went on Sunday?

Not sure why the hysteria. Bad 2nd half. There was a goal in it at half time. A lot of factors come into play in a pre-season game. There were players missing from both teams but dare I say it, the ones missing from EF were more important (Nelson aside) and also strengthen the Midfield. Add Strnadica, Kommer, Boekhorst and Manning and the Midfield looks considerably better.
Even on Saturday, there were positive signs- just didn’t hit the scoreboard or maintain it.

EF Colts and Futures won their respective games with ease v WP on Sunday....so not all doom and gloom at the end of the day.

Ti-Em,

I could post a more positive response for you if it would make you feel better mate. I actually said you will win games off the back of your 3 x talls, your backs were 100% shit and your mids are too slight in frame and (my thoughts only) is that your midfield would rank 7th or 8th in the comp.

100% true, Winger can vouch also as he was right next to me and we were very amused to say the least.

FF2....true about the WP culture etc....but who has been WP coach during Nelson and Blacks careers?....who has been WP coach the last 10 years? ....funnily enough he is EF coach....Rome wasn't built in a day, but Monaghan has a proven track record of success.....true EF will be doing well to make finals....but any improvement on Wileys tenure will be a plus.....EF will have their moments positive and negative......time will tell.....

Leedy tell all mate.....obviously you heard it all and you found it amusing....tell all mate....

Maybe they were bitching about who's going to step up to make up for George Hampson's 30 possessions a game they're missing? Lol

Post what you like Leedy and your comments are appreciated. Our midfield is an area that needs to improve sharpish. It let us down again on Saturday and we were well beaten in that area. Couple that with our 100% shit backs, shouldn't your lot be scoring more than 3 goals in a half?
