We all see the game in our own way and since you didn't see it we know for certain your opinion isn't worth a pinch if goats manure :)

too true MO.....but TBH I'd have more faith in my brothers/mates opinions than yours and your Collingwood tainted SDFC besties in 42, Swandog and BH...... all I have been told is SD outplayed EF till 3/4 time and then SD at the final hurdle choked big time like a bunch of front running, down hill skiers their fans didn't think they could ever possibly be...... :pinch:

Great win, great comeback!!!

Things I noticed in summary.
- SD were the better side for the majority of the game.
- Chalwell went off in the 2nd and didn't return, leaving EF with only 21 players.
- McGough was our best IMO for the 2nd week in a row...to call him a down hill skier is ludicrous!!!
- Dodd outpointing Geappen hands down when SD controlled most of the game was pivotal as we would of been further behind at 3qtr time.
- Some umpiring decisions BOTH ways were bemusing to say the least. After watching the replay all of the 50m penalties were there.
- A few SD supporters STILL complaining about umpires when their team loses???

Bad luck to the Ressies but as Malaxos has said re Subi, they're the best ressies side he has seen for a long time and I agree. Will win the GF easily.

Good luck to SD colts as I remember belting them last season which had a lot of younger players and they have now formed into a very good team.

The PROBLEM is not what is paid it is WHAT IS NOT PAID; what WOROBEC paid to East Fremantle in their forward line was let go in our forward line. That is the problem. It is an absolute joke that Worobec is considered in the top 6 umpires in the WAFL. If he is in the top 6 what a damning indictment on the abilities of those not in the top 6. Worobec took 7 QUARTERS to award us a free kick this season 7 QUARTERS. Until the Umpires' Advisors and coaches refuse to allow an umpire to umpire league until he is good enough we will continual to have to put with the likes of Worobec et al. For Freezin and others of that ilk I was loathe to comment on the umpiring on this thread as East Freo won the game convinvingly in the final analysis.

However, I am not going to put up with some of the comments by East Freo supporters and other vis a vis we are whingers and we choke. No Swans' supporters can be anything other than immensely proud of the Swan Districts Football club's performances in all grades (Colts, Ressies, League and our Women's teams).

Further when will Swans be receiving apologies from those who said that Swans had exceeded the salary cap for 2014?

42...talk to the person from the WAFC who made those numbers public by sending them to all the clubs which indicated SD were going to blow the salary cap by seasons end and ask him/her for an apology....

I guess the same time you come on here and say well done to EF for kicking 9 goals in the last quarter and turning a 30 pt deficit into a 20 odd point win 42?.....

actually the only thing I questioned re SD salary cap was why should I believe your source over Barneys source or someone else's source?....I can only take your word that you actually spoke to Hodyl....as for me being reluctant to divulge EF salary cap status.....don't really care if EF were over or under....if they are over than more fool EF......but you would never say that about the SDFC, you, Swandog and other SD fans are never gracious in defeat...actually the worst losers here on ozfooty....always pinning the blame elsewhere for SD players short comings.....they choked mate to a team of down hill skiers supposedly.....quite ironic hey?

yeah they had a great start to the season.....kudos for that....but TBH come the latter half of the season SD were actually just above Perth as the worst club in the league..hard to swallow but tell me...how many did you guys lose on the trot at the end?.....you fell into finals....but hey that is your good fortune and Cl misfortune......good luck to your colts boys by the way too for their GF......gotta move forward I guess......yeah I know Subi will kick EF arse this week to shut me up.....if they do then so be it.....but that 9 goal last quarter was a classic and will be fondly remembered by a few folk here on the EF thread.

I would think the only time you will shut up is when you shuffled on your mortal coil. Speaking of classics I can recall a certain 1984 GF where Swans kicked 9 goals in the first quarter of that match.

I reiterate by any measure of success Swans have had an outstanding year.

Try 10 goals in that 1st qtr 42 ..that really takes some doing, any old club can kick 9! ;)

I don't think our old mate frosty has ever got over it either!! :)

I didn't want to rub his nose in it BH; double digits in the first qtr of a GF - not bad.

For those who need reminding.

I would put our win on sunday somewhere in the area of the 1965 grand final - obviously not as important but like 1965 a big last quarter. 1965 was more remarkable as the old easts kicked into the wind in the last quarter.
