Brilliant to have a win, but disappointing margin after being 7 goals up at 3/4 time.  Still, it was a good win.

We were up against 25 - but the better team won. 

Considering 23 goals were kicked down one end to two goals down the other, I wouldn't be too  disappointed at that margin 58.....EP were always going to come home strong.....did so in the two games last  year from memory. 

10 goal Quarters don't happen too often these days, so well  done to EF for getting off to a flying start..., in the end it was what won  EF the game and lost EP the game.  Congrats to EF 3 debutants today,, always good to see some fresh faces in the team. 

Looked like a decent crowd, good for the town of Northampton and the mid west in general getting a game of WAFL footy on their doorstep.....even better that EF won and a couple of Gero products played in a winning side for both the men and ladies teams. 

Well done to the colts on their win today, hit  by COVID  resulting in 7 colts debutants.....and few of the older colts playing in the reserves due to a few  reserves regulars out with COVID.....with only the league playing next week v WCER plus the state bye the week after, hopefully  the enforced two week break will  allow the club to keep their COVID tally under wraps.

Made the trip up to Northampton. Beautiful day, good crowd, terrific hospitality and terrific win set up by an amazing first quarter!!! You don't get to witness a 10 goal quarter at any level and it was brilliant to watch.
Marshy was brilliant up forward as was Eardley & Jupp down back. I also was very impressed with Cody Smith in the backline.
Disappointing we couldn't maintain our dominance after quarter time but all in all a good effort and showed the potential of the team.

Not as dedicated as yourself but watched the stream through the AFL website. The camera work and commentary was a bit pants - at one point Brynn Teakle was referred to as Treacle. 10 goals to 1 first quarter was awesome. The umpires must of felt sorry for the royals after that - 29 free kicks came their way over the next 3 quarters. You just have to wind the tape back to the Royals 12th and last goal to see the level of silliness we were clearly up against . Another from a free kick - this one to Ameduri, who must be the first player to be awarded a free kick for holding the ball against his opponent whilst actually being in possession of the ball himself.

Back to the Sharks though and Eardley just gets better each week and was clearly our best. Little Buddha was also excellent winning plenty of the ball through the middle. Jansen also has showed improvement since a rusty first half against Swans. His tackling a stand out. Baskerville was very good as usual. Marsh with 6 goals up front deserves praise as does Jupp for his work down back. On to the WACA for our first game of the season.

I don't know if you noticed Tim Tam,and maybe the live stream on your Rank Arena didn't pick this up,but 3 of your first 4 goals came from free kicks.Also kicking 3 goals in 3 quarters as opposed to the 11 kicked kicked by last years 8th placed team should be a little bit of a worry,and i'm sure you would've had a nappy change in the last quarter,where the one of the biggest chokes in WAFL history looked a real possibility,but shaving 44 points of a 54 point deficit,was a big positive for our boys.

great win especially with 5 goals in the last 5 mins of the 1st qt which was where ep lost the game
ron bentley living in mandurah now & didnt see houlty but did bump into leith teakle
northampton fc did a great job hosting the game & I hope they made a bucket load for the community
