I must say I haven't seen since the days of John Duckworth,a big utility move as well as MARSH,who seems a very interesting character.

RL I guess leaking 10 goals  in a quarter, is as big a worry, as is nearly coughing up a 40 odd point lead at 3/4 time .....EF could afford to cough and still win, unlike the EP leak. Strange old game with one end of the ground seeing 23 goals, whilst the other end only saw 2 goals.

Kudos to EP for fighting back as they did ....but the damage was already done by quarter time....and who says  you have to play 4 quarters to win a game of footy these days.....bit like that first meeting between  both sides last year....think it was the 3rd quarter that won EF the game that day... resulting no doubt, in a  few nappy changes  for the EP fans.....hopefully  the Northampton Oval nappy changing facilities were able to handle the high demand during the match.

Caught the live steam- the game had long periods of inactivity on the scoreboard before a rush of goals. Great to come away with 4 points against a team that was in red hot form.

Eardley outstanding and Marsh was a handful. Teakle and Goddard were probably beaten by Jones in the ruck but Teakle looked dangerous up forward.

Debut players in Williamson, McDonald and Aiken-Featherstone did their bit without setting the world on fire. Baskerville and Boekhorst continued their great starts to the year. Great to see Leggett play more through the midfield as well.

Decent start to the year and if we can knock off WCE easily then should be in the 5 going into the bye
