KC, you maybe pleasantly surprised who EF may snag last minute mate,..... if WCE make a decision on Strnadica sooner rather then later.......just be nice for all parties if WCE did the right thing.....for once.

Is Teakle playing for EF or Subi this year? Heard Subi threw big coin at him and was the reason they went cold on Ajang Ajang. I haven’t seen any mention of him moving clubs on here, you blokes would know.

DD, in a recent interview with the EF coach just before Xmas, it was mentioned that Strnadica is all but gone to WCE and that Teakle was ready to step up.....also was mentioned EF had an experienced ruck in the wings also, who wouldn't/couldn't commit till WCE decided yay or nay for Strnadica.....reckon Teakle is still at EF, but Subi do like those GNFL boys from EF zone though......

I see Bockman is off EF list....injury prone but talented sort.....

Good to hear Freezin, nothing worse than losing a required promising young player to an opposition club. 😉

Come end of the day DD, if that required promising player can see a better opportunity for themselves on and off the park elsewhere, why shouldn't they be allowed to explore it?...I wouldn't begrudge Teakle one bit for moving to Subi, if he thought that was in his best interests......disappointing to see him go, but ones career in footy is but a mere snapshot of their life...on and off the park.

What's more concerning for me is that Subi went cold on Ajang, they usually are experts in converting  other club fringe players into successful premiership winning players....e.g. Heal, Matera, Hancock, Sokol etc.....why did Subi go cold on Ajang, especially when their ruck stocks are thin at best?

Freeze, ya have to remember AJ walked out on EP which was apparently down to the coaches decisions and feedback. I am not a big fan of players who do that and whilst AJ is a nice bloke and very smart sometimes even the brightest players make silly decisions.

My point Freezin being as it looks almost a certainty you lose Strnadica to the Eagles you could ill afford to lose a young up and coming ruckman. The WAFL world is sick if Subiaco’s dominance and that has to change.

I sense the feeling the wheels are turning as $ubiaco’s cash cow has disappeared and their annual earnings are now on a par with the rest of the competition although they retain a healthy head start with their bank balance but the gap is closing as other clubs have found ways to make healthy profits.

It’s now up to a few clubs like yours and mine to step up and change the order and add some new unfamiliar colours to the top 5, more so the top 3.

Totally agree DD, though from that Ajang tsf to Perth/ Subi cooling on Ajang and Subi interest in Teakle interest  timeline, WCE hadn't even invited Strnadica to train on with them....thus Teakle was 2nd in line to Strnadica at EF, so it wouldn't of surprised me if Teakle had jumped ship to Subi for greater opportunities.

 To me Strnadica is a monty to sign on with WCE for one of their two spots, they need a ready to go ruck to back up Nic Nat......apparently EF have a back up replacement in the wings, but all depends on WCE decision making.....I hope Teakle does step up, though he will need back up, which EF hasn't really got bar young ex colt Muskarovsky and some pinch hitters in Dixon, Bonomelli and Bailey....it's a pity young Cripps looks E.S bound regardless of whether Carlton offer him their remaining list spot or not.
