If true, Hugh-ge blow for the Sharks. We are a bit screwed now and get next to zero compensation to make matters worse. 

Think it's only going to worse TBH, can't see EF footy department finding a Dixon replacement last minute.....I wonder if that experienced tall, EF had in mind as a contingency  plan for Strnadica getting picked up, might be still available, now Dixon has gone?.....probably too late in the pre-season  now I guess.....

…and from what I read, Strnadica and Joyce are still in with a chance.  Ffs, what happened to taking 1 player per club?  Flexible rules are obviously made up on the run.

It's no good for any WAFL club being left on the edge of what's going to happen. But Dixon isn't a local Bullcreek Leeming / Ferndale / Rostrata / Kardinya local like some are making out here. He's from Tassie.

You need to blow the dust off the credit card sharkie and subscribe to the West. It's embarrassing how much you are out of the loop. As I've explained to you before, the one player per club limit relates to how many WAFL players the Eagles Reserves can recruit from each club. Got SFA to do with train on players or mid season drafts etc.... for their AFL side.

You must have been hallucinating Dogman. Regardless of whether Dixon is a local product or is a recruit (which all WAFL clubs have) he will be missed - that to me, seems the point some are making out here.

Yeh, I remember someone explaining it, this was just a cry of total frustration!!  As for signing on to the west, can’t really see a big need.  If being behind WAFL news is the worst thing that happens  to me, then I’m doing ok in life. 

Dogman, I guess Dixon is as much an EF boy as Parker and Pickett were SF boys when they got poached by the AFL.....as Ti Em rightly says, Dixon getting poached last minute by WCE, is definitely going to hurt EF, regardless of where he is from.....

Apparently D day for WCE and their SSP upgrades. Sounds like 1 available spot could balloon into 3, due to Darling and a few of those recent WCE long term injuries. Considering Strnadica has been based at WCE for the whole preseason, he would be terribly unlucky to miss out, whilst Joyce and Naish were the only SSP train ons to play v Freo yesterday. Can't see WCE blindsiding any one by pulling a Rogers or Schelensog or Strom rabbit out the hat unseen.....so it looks like Strnadica, Joyce and Naish will battle it out or all three will be accommodated..... bugger for EF if it was the latter....
