If Bonomelli is the answer then we're in trouble!! Is he even getting a kick in the Reserves?

I guess at some point they will need to change it up but i'm not sure there's much pushing up. Looking at the injury list Manning, Baskerville, Kommer and Davidson could be back after the bye.

You'd think a couple of forwards will be on the shopping list in the off season

Not so much that Bonomelli is the answer more that a few targets up front is a good idea. Bonomelli is tall and pretty mobile so does bring something - the opposition have to find a match up for him and key forwards or big forwards can bring smalls into play.

Don’t disagree. We need one of our emerging talls (or Loersch) to grab the bull by the horns

Pretty hard for one of EF emerging talls to grab the bull by the horns when Teakle, Bonomelli and Loersch are fighting for game time in the reserves forward line....Bonomelli has kicked 5 goals from EF only two reserves games and 1 goal in the league side v Peel....considering EF reserves have only kicked 10 goals in total, Bonomelli has kicked half....just thought it would be an ideal game v Perth to play him to stretch that not so tall Perth defence......still scratching my head at the Mills selection, surely Tucker takes the third tall Perth forward...or even Bailey goes back to help, IF Bonomelli was playing....but he is not....can see Monaghan going expletive again....and it's all his own doing TBH....especially when you keep playing the same players.

Is Mills no good?

You’re right, unless Strnadica has a day out- not sure where the goals are coming from. Bring in another tall and play Bailey as the 3rd tall. Bockman has been ok in the games I’ve seen but Monaghan, Ryan, Murphy ect have been poor.

Not too sure what to make of that 6 point loss....seem to have a few opportunities in both the 2nd and 4th quarters to get our noses in front...but kicking 1.5 and 2.4 ain't conducive to kicking a match winning score....just really lack some genuine goal kickers from the sounds of things...did Strnadica get injured?.....looks like all 3 grades could do with some goal kicking practice over the bye....that reserves game looked like point scoring feast....now the fun really begins with WP, Cl and Subi to come....out of all those 3, Subi seem to be EF best bet for a win....LOL who would of thought that?

Strnadica very inconspicuous - and we suffered for lack of targets. Seemed to come home with a wet sail though. Snadden hit the goal post from straight in front in the last 5 minutes - a goal would of brought us within a kick with plenty of time remaining. Had been a pretty subdued atmosphere up to that point from our perspective. But a win would of been stolen really as we trailed all day and our opponents seemed sharper and more likely to score when got the ball forward - something they seemed to do quite easily it should be noted. Difficult to find good players for us - easier to find players who were not. That situation never ends well. Valuable 4 points for Perth though and they will be happy to get the win no doubt.
