We have an EFFC member at work who always manages to sell me a club raffle ticket. Prizes are always excellent, including a trip to Broome I seem to remember

Just gone past $50 000! Great effort as that was $50 000 we didn’t have one week ago.

Gee there's an echo in the place...

Agreed KCEF....approaching $49k as we speak....that's $49k the club didn't have a week ago so well done to them for being proactive and getting off their bums in tough times.

that well and truly covers the fee for Leggett.

Nothing wrong with the 70s MO, just go and ask the Perth boys, they can tell what they were like....nothing like a bit of nostalgia when talking and watching footy.

Would make me laugh if Bolton chose EF over Perth or SD....especially since both clubs are richer and have non 70s themed facilities.

Puerile stuff from MO for sure - but sadly obviously gratifying at some level.

It’s certainly not gratifying to visit East Freo to watch WAFL, big choice - dodgy seats undercover, dodgy seats in a grandstand facing in a strange direction or avoiding all the ant mounds on the hill, awesome day all round.

As an opposition supporter you have 1 match a season to attend at Moss Street (not compulsory either mind you). Really it is a concern for East Fremantle members and supporters - who funnily enough don't seem to be bothered so much about the ground.

The Merv Cowan stand faces the oval it self- which is hardly strange. It is positioned on a flank and is not centered though - just like the MacDonald Stand at Bassendean! I would of thought the wooden seats of the Merv Cowan or Macdonald or Bill Walker stands comparable to one another in terms of arse numbingness too.

Yes MO, the first thing I do when the WAFL fixtures are released each year is look for the visit to EF oval. Highlight of the season for me, such facilities. I reckon Robert Wiley should have received danger money working down there.
