They all say how bad Wiley was but the people that put him there and have not improved the club financially are still there, work that out, they need a mirror not a go fund me page

Do you always think so simply about things MO?

It’s a good starting point, you think East Freo was in a good position on and off the field before this happened do you ?
That’s not reflected in your on field or financial performance.

No the on field performance was not good - hence why you recruit! The financial side of things is possibly a bit more complex. I would be reluctant to criticize that side of things.

Not sure what all the fuss is about here, you donate if you want to and if you don't want to...then don't. Just another way of getting funds into a club, especially at this footy free point in time.....some clubs shake tins, some clubs shack up with a sugar daddy, some clubs radiate the environment with mobile phone towers, different strokes for different folks...

Had to laugh about Perth being like SD in terms of putting a moratorium on recruiting....SD were less then transparent about their accounting methods, farked up and paid the price by having no money to recruit, but did ok due to a plethora of young talent....Perth on the other hand have tried to recruit all n sundry, anything that had a heart beat Perth were on to....but couldn't get them over the line because no one simply wanted to go there, due to decades of chronic failure...how many sob stories have we heard from the Perth boys how opposition clubs pipped their club at the post recruiting wise....wasn't from a lack of money or effort....recruiting moratorium.....my arse....

Yep...SD has benefitted from the largesse of BHP and others, Perth have received $1m from WCE to build a new grandstand, SF has an arrangement with Freo city council to sell parking at Freo Oval during the week plus had the Dockers maintaining the ground when they shared, Claremont has the new clubrooms build, WP received new clubroom and social facilities gratis, Peel has much of their costs picked up by the Dockers, Subi had the AFL seats deal, EP socked away millions when aligned to WCE...and what extra benefits have flowed through to EF? SFA as far as I know of.

1. Swans did not fuck up their accounting it was in fact their good accounting that saved them. Ask yourself, how we lost 900+k yet didn't go bankrupt like WP or receive any special grants etc from the WAFC or Gov't.
2. There is no Largesse from BHP. We have 13 Full time staff running community programs the that mining companies are compelled to do under their mining leases.
3.WE never stopped recruiting, though we did pump more $$ into our development programs including housing up to 6 regional players in a house with our development officer.
Bu hey , you blokes never let the facts get in the way of misguided drivel.

Anyone who loses 900+k in the first place must of farked up some where in the number crunching process mate....you say it's not SD piss poor accounting... let's just say piss poor SD counting then...

BC even more frustrating is that EF have contributed more to the AFL in terms of on field quality then a lot of those other WAFL clubs, who have just simply put their hand out alas Oliver Twist style...when you have lost as many players to the AFL as EF has over the last 20 years, you can see why they have gone out of their way to recruit, just to simply be competitive....or do we do a Perth and provide their fans with 20 odd years of no finals footy and 40 odd years of no big dance footy? Well done to Perth then on their on field pain / off field gain financial strategy....not sure I would want to waste 40 years of my winter weekends for a pandemic to come along and make it all worth while by whittling down the competition from 10 clubs to 6, just to increase my chances of playing finals footy.....

EF get on the front foot to keep the club going in these tough times and we have morons on here making outlandish comments.
