I am a bit saddened by Tylers move but understand in someways why.

I suspect that he has been lead to believe by his manager that he has more chance of being picked up elsewhere and if he has chosen to believe that the sobeit.

I wonder tho's how the recruiters will view it in the light of what he has been told about his draft chances, I can speculate on some of the reasons.

Of course the thing that is most irksome for me and obviously will be a joy to the cardinals supporters is the move to the dreaded pale blue and pink team, but again good luck to them for their foresight.

U are probably on the money but the little bit I know of Keitel there are not many at the club made of the same cloth!

Play reserves or maybe get the odd opportunity off the pine versus regular senior time at the Cardies mate,looks like the latter was chosen

Again you are right abt opportunities but whether I agree with the alignment or not, if you were young and having not been drafted for a range of reasons do you think this would be a career setting move, nothing against WP. There are valid reasons for his situation in the AFL arena. Hopefully he deals with them and develops into a mature strong (emotionally) young man.

Could also be a chance for the kid to grow up into an adult mate that's if as you say there has been concerns about him
For sure there will be expectations & disciplines placed on the lad by Monaghan at WP if he is cleared

For a kid just out of Colts who hasn't completed his first Senior pre-season yet, he seems to have jumped the gun and it sounds to me like he had started to sulk already.

And it also sounds as if his parents may have some sort of gripe against East Perth.

I wonder what his ex-teammates in the East Perth Colts think of him now?

I'm with East Perth on this one. He hasn't earned a Clearance yet.

As I understand it Keitels parents appreciate all that has been done, it would seem that a bottom of the gene pool thing called a manager has a lot to do with it, I suppose 10% of $250 is a big attraction.

This was always going to happen and i have stated it many times here. Players do not see opportunities whilst WCE come and go. Other clubs can offer different opportunities. Bit hard on the kids when form does not dictate games at league level. Time will tell if he is any good so good luck to Tyler in the future

This is all about opportunities, if the kid thinks he will not get the opportunity to play league he will move, we have lost heaps of players in the past who have left for the same reason, west coast should not stand in his way.
