EP have clogged their transition path with the alignment.

He only "thinks" he will not get the opportunity but he has no idea because he has not even given himself a chance. He is a State Under 18 player for heaven sake and is probably pissed off because he wasn't drafted.

What will he do if he is drafted by West Coast and has to go back to East Perth? Sulk?

Not playing him in the league team last year after the carnival hasnt helped. Swans ands Perth played kids immediately and they were drafted. The point is they control there destiny and kids at EP and PT dont

seems to me a young man slotted into two state teams he was of age for and then playing as he has in the colts - I for one wouldn't be looking to criticise him for his move due to not gaining AFL status but rather the EP coaching staff - or should I say eagle coaching staff for not elevating him.

Good on him for the stance, good on his parents for looking to their sons needs and future
Hes certainly not the first to leave the West Coast Woyals lately, he wont be the last as time passes and he wont be the main one to hold the banner 'disloyal' to any true black n blue fans that are left as this alignment continues.

I know and I have been very circumspect in my comments, I hope he does well I hope he blossoms in the WAFL but it will be 90% due to what the EPFC has done and abt 20% his parents and the rest WPFC.

As for the others they have all served an 'apprenticeship' seen the opportunities were going to be limited and move on, great for them and I hope they all have some success.

When you KNOW what you are talking abt then quite happy to read and accept.

Must be guarenteed a league game or else he may becoma a Blake Borrett or Rowan Brooks.

Not precious at all, I just try to be sensible and then to be lump in with the herd does not impress me although I suspect that wouldn't worry you.

East Perth and their supports are a very proud bunch, black and blue through and through, their club is not theirs anymore and the young players have to leap high walls to get a game. if young players choose to leave because The politics and opportunities are not afforded them then so be it. if the East Perth faithfull want to see their club be their club and watch their youth become part of their clubs proud history you know what to do. You would have the support of every avid WAFL support from every club, we want East Perth back as well.
