Or the Spaanderman betrayal.
getting back on point.the reason i mentioned giblett is he is a one pointer being a ex player and we are thin for key defenders as we don't know how hayden will pull up from hie knee injury.next year.whatever he did must be bad if he is behind keitel/howlett/spaanderman.

So are you guys seriously discussing swapping your reserves ruckman for Perth's premier midfielder?

I rate Byrne but 70 kg injury prone mids are not like hens teeth.  You need a moderate ruckman if you want to be fair dinkum, AJ would play league at Perth for 10 years.  (Moderately). You guys have offered him a contract every year?

I don't know what Byrne's contract status is, but f he is contracted you would need a hell of a lot more than Ajang to get a deal done. Assuming we would even get to the table - I would hope PFC would have a flat no in relation to Byrne. Yes, we need a ruckman, but if we want Ajang we'll wait until he's out of contract, if he's interested. Otherwise, you're welcome to approach us about a deal in relation to Hitchcock or Hayward or Martin or Henderson or Marshall Jones.

Fair enough Ted hence why trading is so difficult. AJ is certainly handy enough to keep on our list.  Recruiting Ruckman at state league level is more miss than hit.

Ranked by total League Hit Outs, Ajang is 9th (172 from 10 games), by average /game his 17.2 also ranks 9th in those with total hit outs in the top 11 (range is 16.6 - 35.4).
Subiaco (8th and 10th) and East Perth (3rd and 9th) have 2 each in the top 10 by total hit outs. Eyres is Perth’s best (157 from 6 ranked 11th). The 2 Subiaco players both average 16.6 per game (=10th); East Perth’s are 17.2 (9th) and 29.25 (7th).
Of the top 11, Ajang is 7th (with 2.9) for average marks per game (which ranges from 1.5 - 5.9, but take out Delahunty 5.9 and Gault 4.74 and the top end would be 3.75) and 8th for average disposals per game (with 10.3) (if you take out Delahunty 24.5 and Gault 17.3, the range is 8.3 - 16.3). By goals scored Ajang is equal 5th (4 goals; average 0.4/game)  and the range is 1-8 and average of the top 11 is about 0.5/game only Vardy averages 1 goal/game.
Reid (in 4 games) averages 19 hit outs, 2.75 marks, 13.5 disposals and 0.5 goals.
I’m not quite sure what the knock is on Ajang based on those numbers especially as his numbers must be reduced by the presence of Jones. In 2019, when Jones was on the Dockers list, Ajang was 6th in total hit outs (averaging 25.5 per game) and averaged 2.9 marks per game  (Jones was 7th in total hit outs and averaged 29.2)

If you take out AFL listed Meek and Vardy, A.J. is a top 4 WAFL tap ruckman,so  unless we are very well compensated i would be reluctant to just give him away.

Ease up boys on AJ, don’t forget he’s still learning the game, don’t ship him off to another club to quickly. EP are crying out for a key back, maybe try him there, like a Aliir Aliir type, he’s quick, can mark and kicks quite well, the ball is in front him, all he has to do is go forward

You never know unless you try it 351.  My observation he can’t go laterally very well. Also he often struggles to pick up the flight. In a straight line HD is fine and a super athlete.
