Thx DD & TFaF, you have got some good players coming through into the ones and that added to the recruit should stand you in good stead,

Archie I am not sure Pat should have played, he did not look at all pleased before the game up in the stand but I think it was abt showing the flag.

There are a couple of boys in the twos that could be useful, most notably Ben McGuire.

There are lots of good things abt the game apart from the loss and a couple of instances of selfish play. Schumcher looks the goods and should have had at least to goals from the 50 but for the selfishness of a player!

A lot's been said about Logan McDonald, but Jack Richardson was pretty handy.
Given he's from Claremont, do you know if he's related to Ian Richardson?

Yes a fair few more than the 2000 approx estimated. I'd say closer to 3000.

Jack Richardson is a son of former SD forward Steve Richardson and nephew of Mike I heard.

Indeed, Grump, several positives came out of the game after we fell five goals behind early.
Ben McGuire showed some promise around goals last year without breaking any games apart, so hopefully he gets another shot in 2020.
Angus Schumacher has a great boot on him and, given the chance, I can see him roosting a few running goals from outside 50.
Though he didn't have a great day, I felt a bit for Sebit Kuek on debut.
Midway through the last quarter he was all alone about 20m out from goal.
However, instead of chipping the ball over the top to him, a couple of our players overdid the handball on the 50m arc and we coughed up possession.
I think Jayden Magro kicked a great running goal a minute or two later, but it would've been a great confidence booster for Sebit if his teammates had looked for him.

I thought the reserves showed a bit although not knowing where Perth are makes it a bit difficult but on what I saw they showed that they are ready to play. There are a few in there that could step up if given the opportunity.

Tom Gorter although he may not like it is a good defensive wing man and go back if needed, Callum Hart looked to be getting back to where he was few seasons ago, injury and WCE have hampered him, Nathan Arbon despite his own opinion of his game showed that he is ready again. There are others that I think will fit Nathan Eaton, Cooper Sparks and Jonty Turner.

A fair few surnames on the East Perth lists I noticed in Saturday one was written about Thomas Hooper son of former No 1 draft pick Stephen Hooper but there's a Magro, Sparks x3, Maguire, Turner, Watts, Campbell, Chadwick, Cable, Edwards, Fullgrabe, Fewster, Michalczyk, Miller, Robertson, Thompson...

Crikey are you a nursery for future father son's?

Which ones can you confirm are son's of ex East Perth or ex WAFL players?

What about Kevin Sparks Grump? I heard ex Perth, East Perth and Peel player Russell Thompson has a kid coming through EP.

Sparks is not related as far as I am aware, Kevin and Russell are brothers but not to these kids, As far as I know the Thompson lad has not made it to colts but since my retirement I have not had a lot to with colts or development, will make some enquiries and get back to you

I'm glad I wasn't the only to see this Shayne Hille is now a senior player with over 50 games. How many times does he get caught trying to race around a player before he realises he is not as fast as he thinks he is. Happened twice in front of the group of East Perth supporters I was sitting with in the pocket. When a goal was available with just a quick unselfish handpass he tries to go for an impossible goal.

Would like to see one of the many small forwards we have in the reserves get a go. Ben McGuire or even Jonty Turner. I liked his game in the reserves last week. He played well.
