Historically games against Perth have been worth the entrance fee and this should be worth it as well just to see what team we have on the park, how the pre-season changes are put into practice and what the future will hold albeit after one game.

It will also be interesting to see where Perth are with their recruits and general play. They will miss Yeo, an important loss for them.

East Perth's first competition game in 11 months, Grump, so hopefully the faithful will make the trip out to Lathlain, a ground that I've always enjoyed visiting.
Those at the club last year should be jumping out of their skins to impress after a disappointing end to 2019, while the recruits will want to justify their selection.
As I see it, Claremont, South Fremantle and Subiaco are odds-on to occupy the top three positions, so fourth will be filled by whichever team can string a few early wins together.

And if one believes the weather forecast, should be a good afternoon at all the grounds.
Partly cloudy conditions and a maximum temperature of the low 20's. With a slight chance of a shower of rain in the early evening.

WAG, should be a good day for some good football being played by a team that is trying to re-establish itself after a period in the wilderness and the other trying to repair 5 years of crap!

Archie it will be interesting to see how the recruits go, I reckon we could have quite a tall forward line with Freeman, Simpson and AJ resting there, a small forward should have a field day that is if we can get it in there quickly. We will miss Robertson but I think Ramsey et al can do the job.

And I've been telling the Subi boys all the other Clubs work and train as hard as they do!!!!!

Individuals at all clubs certainly would. But as far as a collective and add the quality of the program and standards required Subiaco are number one by a margin.

Umm getting with in 10 goals of Perth????i don't know if you realize but they fell in against a Dockerless Peel and who exactly are the Demons recognized ruckman?I can't see this being anything other than a low scoring scrappy encounter with the worst case scenario being a narrow loss.
