According to the footy budget, ABC & KIX are broadcasting.

I would not be putting too much faith in abc. Apparently they have only covered 5 or maybe 6 matches all season. All very sad how abc has gone downhill !!
Really, really hoping that the Kix digital is working. They have a top rating coverage normally.

It looks like Newton is an in. I reckon Cleggert is a little unlucky as I rate him as an in and under mid. Other clubs like SD, Perth and EF should have a close look at him if he's not going to get regular opportunities in the seniors.

Newton is a goal kicker and will help cover the loss of Borch, would only play him forward and not on the ball in his first game back, Waters could do some more work in the mids.

I think this will be a lot closer than most think and a real hard fought game, loser is likely to play an AFL loaded WCER in the prelim.

Agree SS. Souths are playing some decent footy so we're no shoe in that's for sure. I see Clang is playing ressies and so is Hoskins. I thought both would be in the seniors if fit so not sure what the go is there.

And what can only be described as being so very very disappointing is the KIX website is only showing the [quote=404 - The file you requested could not be found[ :( :(

Well, this would be Subi's 64th danger game in the last 3 years. They have managed to fall over the line in 60 of them, but something has to give eventually.

A good solid win. It was a bit scrappy in the first half and Souths were intent on applying physical pressure which at times was a bit ott. Then Subi put on the afterburners in the third and that was all she wrote. Ben Newton was superb in his first game for a month, Braut was the glue in the backline and took several intercept marks. Kitch, Horse, Maxy all good along with Joyce and Kennedy. Soks stepped up after being well held to half time and Rhys Waters came to life as well. T E-B contributed well and Dela battered manfully but wasn't his usual influential self. 54 to 32 i50s, 70 more disposals and 16 more tackles told the tale. Possibly Wheels, Hoskins, Fimmano, Matera, Leach, Cleggert, Vermeersch all pressing up from the ressies with Stainsby and Beverley feeling a bit nervous I'd say. A good win and now for the big one...bring it on.

WAG, given their commitment to the AFL, I reckon the ABC does a reasonable job in covering the WAFL when opportunities present.
Yes, us WAFL diehards would love it if the ABC broadcast a game every week, but they'll always have a far greater audience broadcasting AFL matches.
In comparison, the AM radio station with a 162 kHz higher radio frequency than the ABC only jumps on board on WAFL Grand Final day.
That said, nobody beats 91.3FM for their WAFL broadcasts and they'll always get my listening ear … if my rickety wireless can pick up their call.
