Bloody wafl site is on the fritz again, anyone got s half time score? WP in great form so I’m sure it’ll be close.

That was a very solid effort. Our overlap run, work ethic to get numbers around the ball, pressure on the ball carrier was first class. Unfortunately Jordy Lockyer was a late withdrawal with a bit of knee soreness apparently and we were down to 2 rotations for most of the second half but the boys stood up manfully. Our mids in KItch, Horse, Greg Clark, Rhysie Waters, Cleggert and special mention for Maxy Walters were all superb. Our backline its usual efficient self and Sokol and Borchet dangerous up front. Dela's 30 plus touches gives us some real grunt through the middle....and well done to all the jerker supporters in stand who gave a Bronx cheer every time they got a free.....you won the free kick count 18 to 8 so not sure what all that was about but good luck to you anyway. All up, a very solid team performance with Kennedy, Lockyer and Powell, Fimmano all chances to come back in next week.

Thanks BC. I was only able to follow stats today. I notice Atkinson got a bunch of the ball early, then not much or nothing - is he injured? He is a real likely looking type I reckon, nice big body and plays a gutsy style.
And Moore only 2 early stats so I hope nothing serious injury wise.

Yes mate...they were the 2 injured. Moore looks like he's done his shoulder again and Atkinson did an ankle I think.

I don't want WP out of the comp but what part of the title is not accurate other than the fact they even reneged on the 4% eventually?

I agree Shark, they don’t give up on it, they never talk about the 400k given to Peel from the WAFC that was never paid back to this day, at least we are paying back the 250k.
They want us out of the comp and replaced by a Freo team maybe ? Who knows

Let them eat cake? This mob have had their cake and eat it too since they moved to Joondalup. Wanted to take the spoils of the richest growth area in the WAFL and got a few premierships as proof, but has stubbornly refused to embrace the name that represents the northern corridor.

They are the most arrogant club in the WAFL and that’s saying something considering the club that dominates it.

I don’t think it has anything to do with being arrogant, the clubs older players don’t want the name changed and many of them threatened to leave the club, as these guys die off the negativity to a name change will disappear.
The name change will happen but the name would need to represent the whole Northan corridor not just Joondalup.
So far no one has ever offered the club any financial rewards to change its name.
