All very good questions Jjim. In terms of Deluca and Mayo...it certainly states in the midseason draft guidelines that players can return to their original club to play finals if their AFL club is not involved in finals. Whether they do or not is another matter. As for Clanger, if he's over for the entire Ashes series then I reckon he's played his last game...maybe Buddy Boy or similar has some mail.

Again only going on Wardmans interview. He said Clangers trip away was known to the club at the start of the season and he is in the mix for a return. I don’t reckon his form was that great anyway, but he does play a role

No real changes other than Moore in for Hoskins. Our ressies team hasn't been posted yet so I can't see if Powell or Fimmano are playing. Apparently Haydn Kennedy is a test this week after coming back from his shoulder injury which he copped from a late hit by a Claremont player a few weeks ago. I also like the fact that Wardman is giving youngsters Atkinson and Stainsby a good run at it. Both seem pretty comfortable at league level.

Well if anyone was going to make it worth while $$$ for Deluca, it is the WAFL competition destroying Lions

Jeez Leedy...are you StT in drag? Deluca is still a listed Subi player so if he had an opportunity to drop back and play finals and that was something he wanted to do then why wouldn't he?

BC like STD, Leedy's grasp on the facts and reality are quickly slipping away. I'd be surprised but certainly happy if Deluca decided to exercise that part of the mid season draft rules and come back to play finals. His first half of the season was exceptional and more than justifies his place in the team.

Just wondering if the drop off in training intensity at Carlton compared to Subi has affected his fitness.

No, but the drop in pay might.

According to today's West both Cleggert and Vermeersch have been left out. That's very strange as I thought both have been excellent the last couple of weeks.
