Well played by Subi today but you have to wonder whether WCER are going to turn up to play when you play them.
I hope when we play them next they turn up like they did today.

IMO you are absolutely on the money DF. I also think you have to be at the ground to appreciate Delahunty's work rate as he's constantly up and down the ground getting to as many contests as he can. I'm a bit worried it will come back to bite us on the arse come finals time as he must be getting absolutely stuffed due to the way he's being used.

I think your boys will do well on Thursday DF. They were very unlucky last time we met as if you recall it was a dirty day and Perth copped heavy rain when you had the wind and we had dry conditions when it was our turn. The coin toss had a fair bit to do with the outcome that day....I'm not saying you would have won but think it would have been a lot closer if the footy gods had been a touch more kind with the Dees.

Rather than being scared of your team BC I think our boys will relish the challenge. As you quite rightly pointed out it was a dirty day last time around. Hopefully it’s a fine dry night on Thursday. Unfortunately Cory Byrne is still a casualty of that clash last time with his shoulder but he was performing some running duties today.

I hope our players learn from today’s mistakes and take the positives out of it. That’s all I can ask.
Get on your bike.

I thought it would be much closer given our outs of Heal, Newton, Kennedy, Powell, Wheeler to name a few but then that was offset to some extent by WCER losing Waterman, Petrocelli, Schofield and so on. Our backs were outstanding and they're so well organised week in week out. Having the likes of Lockyer, Litherland and Marsh down there really makes a difference. Dela was just Dela...comprehensively beaten in the ruck but had it over 30 times around the ground and was probably BOG for mine. Interesting that Rhys Waters played in the midfield and did reasonably well...so that gives us another string to our midfield bow. Horse, Kitch, Walters, Cleggett, T E-B, Soks, Borchet and Braut all very good. All in all a good team effort. A special mention to the 2 debutants in Stainsby and Atkinson who I thought acquitted themselves well. Young Stainsby is very hard at it and attacks the ball full on and is not afraid to run off his man which is fantastic for a 19 yo. All the blokes who've come through from last years ressies in Borchet, Cleggett, Braut, Fullgrabe, T E-B and Leach are all doing a terrific job and covering the loss of more experienced players superbly.

Well you can't beat that, named as first ruck, played as first ruck and comprehensively beaten and probably BOG.

I'll spell it out for you as clearly you can't grasp the simplest of concepts...given Dela was giving away 6cms at most ruck stoppages, he conceded the ruck tap and just contested on almost every occasion but impacted around the ground more than the WCER's ruckmen combined. He virtually plays as a ruck rover who takes taps but doesn't generally try to win too many. There, are you all good now?

Well..I'll be stuffed. Mitchell Woodcock in today's Sunday Times virtually paraphrased what I said when he wrote that Subi conceded the ruck with WCE combining for 64 hit outs whist Delahunty used his athleticism to dominate around the ground as an extra midfielder. He named Dela as Subi's best player. It seems like a have a rough idea on what's happening during a game notwithstanding Oolll's cynical and smart arsed remarks.

Yep BC and ol Mitch Woodcock. What a team. Reminds me s bit of Percy and Frank.

And olry not a smart arse in my book, pretty good observer of the game from what I have read. Not everyone who disagrees with you is worthy of your abuse uncle.

No...you're probably right Testes...but you certainly are worthy of my abuse and that of other Subi supporters. You comment on here more than on the Perth thread...why is that?

I would see it more as obsessed about the SFC.
