Kitchen to the wing, Rhode to halfback, Newton in to take Cockies role as the heavy grunt midfielder, Perkins in the F pocket, Lockyer at CHB and Lith on the flank, Dela at CHF, Sokol to the flank and Clang at FF rotating with Clark in the ruck. A left field idea is Dela on a wing, has a huge tank very mobile and would be impossible to match up on ... just a thought.

Buddy there will be a few opposition mids breathing a sigh of relief that Cockie is out for a while.

Can't think of any Peel mid being that relieved SS....better the devil u know then the one u don't.....Cockie surely must be near his free bus card now.....

Yeah was thinking the same freeze, thought must be 34-35...he is 29 apparently?

Freeze was really referring to WAFL midfielders, very few of those down at Centrelink stadium. Adam when fit is still a very effective mid, his physicality, tackling and his disposal in particular. Ben Newton should fill that gap, he's a bit of a bull in the contests, mids wont be an issue for us, our forward line without the Liams needs a re-structure if we are to kick winning scores. Looking forward to the real stuff when it starts next week against the East Eagles.

He had ankle surgery just after the Christmas break, but not sure what for though.
