A equally understrength East Perth side.Several east perth players out injured and combined with a few untried weagles and east perth boys it means it could get ugly.If Watson and Rotham play as key defenders it is because every tall key defender is injured.

A good win by Subiaco. Going by the online score, had 16 goals on the board at the long break.
What a pity East Fremantle fell over at the final hurdle and came up a tad short. A good effort by the Sharks apparently.
Well done Subiaco.

Yep a good win. I left at the 15 minute mark of the last as I had to drop my daughter somewhere but was really impressed with Subi's mids. Deluca and Newton really gives them some grunt and when combine with Kitch and Horse working off Zac Clarke's ruck work they were very hard to stop. Once Hancock gets back plus Phelan then they'll be the best midfield going around imo. I like the forward structure too without Clanger....it seems more flexible and multi dimensional with Stevo (who kicked 7) Rhys Waters (5) Sokol, Halligan and Dela. Also pushing Zac Clarke forward and putting Dela in the ruck worked as well. Our backs were a bit undermanned but expect Jordan Lockyer to be back next week after another run in the magoos. Phelan was the league runner and seemed to be moving ok...so don't think he'll be too far away. All up, a good win against the feral eagles.

You could be right gtr which is why we have so many soft tissue injuries to senior players. I guess Schofield decided to fight fire with fire...if you're going to beat a full time professional side like the chunder then you have to raise the bar.

That figures mate. Subi were bloody ruthless at the ball. I would say up with the most intense pressure I’ve seen from them. Quite awesome to watch. I loved watching that rabble collapse. But it’s depressing to see what is happening to the old east Perth supporters

BC Hagges also said that the coach will be at Port Adelaide next year as an assistant coach to Ken Hinkly. And so will his 16 year old son who starred in the colts yesterday. But with the new AFL colts Schofield jnr will not be allowed to have a crack at league level.Don't think the colts are allowed to be elevated to league level.

Couldn't agree more Singha. EP is a shadow of its former self and all because Howson and his mates wanted to make a few bucks for the club....which is fine but at what cost to intangibles? They may be better off financially under the alignment but it'll take years for the clubs culture, support base and playing stock to recover once it ends.
