BC Hagges also said that the coach will be at Port Adelaide next year as an assistant coach to Ken Hinkly. And so will his 16 year old son who starred in the colts yesterday.

That's interesting gtr. I know Don Pike has been chasing him the last couple of years but you'd think the 2 WA clubs would be doing likewise which would probably be a better option as he'd be able to stay here and not relocate his family. He'd also be in a better position to pick up a senior coaches job as I can't see Simpson or Lyon being at the helm in 2 or 3 years time. I also take anything the likes of Hagdorn says with a pinch of salt as they're paid to create rumours whether they're accurate or not.

Think its going to be long seasons for both the WA AFL clubs.Neither Simmo or Lyon will want Schofield at there clubs.

Does anyone know the attendance?
I would have imagined 3 or 4 thousand would be there. Being the opening round and the fine weather and all that.

That figures mate. Subi were bloody ruthless at the ball. I would say up with the most intense pressure I’ve seen from them. Quite awesome to watch. I loved watching that rabble collapse. But it’s depressing to see what is happening to the old east Perth supporters

Yeah your right about EP supporters, plenty of empty Royal Blue seats in the EP members stand, would say subi suppoters outnumbered EP 2:1

There was a function at our area so not very conducive to having a crowd there, no access or limited access.

We did a roaring trade with the snaggers and other stuff so seemed to be more folk than your suggesting!
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended

Your right. Those away games against Subi are just too far to get to!

It appears there was a lot more roaring going on from the Lions, which would have certainly outweighed any roaring trade that went on with the snags.
