Don't need to make excuses this comp has been going for over 100 years not 30, things go around & we have made the most of it when it was our turn. I know where this is heading but just for the record I'm sure favouritism goes on at all clubs to a certain degree but I think we have done ok with the quality of our boys coming through. Maybe there are boys out there in our zones with better football ability but when you pick up players there is more than football ability that needs to be looked at & weighed up...you swans blokes would know all about that.

Nope definitely Kingsway JFC formerly called the Landsdale Rockets which caters for the kids in the Darch, Madeley, Landsdale, Alexander Heights & Marangaroo suburbs. With my job I have been doing a bit of work with junior footy clubs and I was astounded at the numbers at that particular club which is in $ubis zone in a massively growing area ..just wish Swans had a junior club in our zone with those sort of numbers !

Subi have been gifted privileges and continue to play games with the salary cap.
And the WAFL continue to allow it to happen.
They are a disgrace to the competition.

And before you pounce on me I am also aware that your books are always open for inspection.
But I would like to see the real ones.

Great while I've caught you here can you please answer the last question I asked you, do you think Billings has played his last game?

Your Reserves should be good for years to come as let's face it they ain't gonna be playing League in front of the plethora of foreign legion that abound at $ubi! :P

Seriously if we had half a side of Greg Clarks coming through I'm all for it, what's the point in recruiting.

Sounds like a lot of diversionary tactics from the grieving Perth and Swans supporters after their weekends turned to shite.

Re the Perth Subi game, it went as most expected, maybe the scoreline was more one sided than most expected but after watching what Perth brought to the table it's not surprising. Now as a long time Subi supporter my memory goes back deep into the dark days when the club was in similar or worse straits than Perth's current on field situation so I don't make these comments lightly. Perth were as BC mentioned previously, an undisciplined rabble, if not for the efforts of quality players like Tropiano who despite our best efforts still managed something like 27 disposals in a team that was being mauled all over the field, the scoreline would have been worse. Tropiano is a high quality player. But his efforts sadly were overshadowed by some appalling behavior by the likes of Billings & McKenna who really seem to work on the basis of "when all else fails, play the ball" the other disappointing effort was by Morton who while waiting at the interchange to go on, obviously, by the reactions of the trainers and medical staff said something unsavoury to the injured lad coming off after being polaxed by Billings. That little rat Wolfenden also spent most of the match sniping or unsuccessfully trying chest up as many Subi players as possible, it was almost laughable in the end, someone needed to show him the scoreboard so he may realize that attacking the footy is much more effective. Having said that I was disappointed in Deluca being sucked into some undisciplined acts following that sort of intimidation by his opponent, it cost us 2 soft free kicks and Schoey was fuming. The rest of the Perth guys had a dip as much as they could but if Spaldings only tactic is to have his entire team in the oppositions forward line for most of the game rather than at least trying to take the game on then these types of results will continue.

Great to see Boland get back into some form, his marking and kicking was first class and along with his 7 goals he gave of 3 or 4 others. Menagola was sensational with 34 disposals and 4 goals, Clanger and Bestry won the taps, first time all season I think!! and were solid around the ground, Phelan was much better this week, DeLuca aside from some brain fades was damaging up forward and the backline as a unit once again were terrific. It was laughable to see Kitchen's name go in the book for the softest report ever seen. After a tangle with a Perth player in a pack, Kitch followed him up and gave him a soft side bump with the Perth lad going down like the proverbial sack. Undisciplined by Kitch and worth a free kick, but a report?? if he gets a fine or suspension then Billing should get life.

Solid couple of games coming up with Souths at home followed by Swans up in the valley. We continue to rack up the injuries but with Twoemey, Rumba, Jackson & Blech going nicely in the ressies and Dela close to a return, we can cover that.
