gee...that time of the month is it DF?...a bit touchy over that grub Billings aren't we? reckon he'll get deregistered in the not too distant future and that will be all she wrote.

according to the subi website we look like getting back Twomey, Bill Fethers, Boland, Rumba and Deluca this week. If that's the case the only notable absentees I think will be Delahunty and Waters.

Good news if true.

It will be interesting to see who plays ruck. Bestry did pretty well, Madut played ressies last outing and I don't believe had a fantastic game.

Billings played a ripper game in that horrible low scoring flooded rubbish earlier this year. I cant recall if it was Boland he played on, but he did play well.

billings must have played on clanger singha as I recall seeing both delahunty and boland sitting in front of me in civvies. let's just say he behaved himself but didn't think he stood out at all. yeah..it was a crap game..schowie wouldn't let the boys sing the club song after the final siren from memory.

I thought the last two games we've played which were against WART & FART our performance was much better, much more intense like it was early in the season, hope it's part of a solid build up to the finals.

We cant relax against Perth they really should have beaten WART last week so on their day they are very competitive. The boys are now playing for finals spots so competition is fierce with a swag of injured lads coming back. After Perth we have two really tough games against quality opposition in Souths at home then Swans up at Bombo valley. If Swans turn up to play they can beat anyone in the comp and Souths with Hams & Sloethe could duck and dive their way to victory on any given day.

The last two games have seen out tackling intensity go up a few notches so if that continues the physical pressure takes its toll on the opposition. The biggest issue continues to be our crappy goal kicking which cost us the game against a very good Joondy team so that really needs to turn around as it could be costly come finals.

Would like to see Bestry get another run, he shows more promise than Madut at this stage, far better pack mark and kick and his tapwork is at least as good.
If Dela is still out they will most likely go with Bestry & Clang in the ruck.

Will be interesting to see if Schoey sets a hard tag on Tropiano who has a massive case of leather poisoning this year and leads all comers in all the awards, must be almost unbackable for the Sandover.

I know dargs from him being an assistant coach in a country footy team I played in and have surfed with him a number of times. He laughs about the punch up with melesso in that 88 grandy where melesso did the big windmill three or four times before letting one fly! They later became mates at the Eagles.
