To be honest, it will be a good effort if we make the final five. It does not matter how the young ruckman go by the way, at the end of the season, we will still need to buy a proven league ruckman. Ruckman take three or four years to be really good league footballers.

Sounds like Madut may have gone ok yesterday against the south boys. Not sure who their rucks were did anyone go for a look?

Stellar was one of them and Madut was good in the centre square with a very good leap. Didn't do much around the ground but still learning. Good effort after quarter time as South looked very quick early but we played tighter after that. All the recruits did something but Kitchen looked the best of them, kicked 3 goals I think and was impressive. Backline looked good especially after first quarter and there was a good intensity to the performance.

We kicked last 3 goals of the game so margin probably flattered us a bit but a good first hit out without Deluca , Delahunty and Waters. Joel Latham was named in 2's but didn't see any of this.

Did some good things without being dominant , seemed to be playing higher than when he was with us two years ago ,wing ,half forward. Is not as skinny as he was then and will be a handy pick up I think as he has ability.
