Really good analysis; we were bloody lucky. Unfortunately, Old Easts lacked a key forward, which as you pointed out really well caused them to have shots from long-distance; this partly explains their 20 odd misses. Perhaps Malaxos could have rested the second ruck man in the forward pocket?

He had Dodd down there for a try and Youngy at times. Subi had enough talls to cover whoever they chose to put down there. They don't have a big key forward and haven't for years. They have done well considering this major short comming. I was speaking to old Bob the EF super legend on the way out after the game and I told him straight that's what they needed today and have for years. He knows,the club knows but they haven't been able to attract anyone ??? Maybe next year they can get someone ???

Yep, I agree -- they have done very well. This why I don't really understand the anti- Malaxos cross; unless, of course, there are other issues at play at the club. Who was their last key forward: Tunbridge?

The second half statistics are interesting in respect to Subiaco because the numbers are worse. Which is not what they would be looking for, as they prepare for the next match.
