With a broken heart, I congratulate Subi on winning the 2014 Grand Final proper. All the best in the practice match against the WCE next week.

Pretty good win today although a little lucky, but yes bad kicking is bad footy as we have found out alot this season. Was worried with the blokes out & also the blokes in, a big gamble bringing in Elliot & Wortho with both having played very little this year. Chris DeLuca is an absolute champ, his effort to put his body on the line to set up that very important goal in the 3rd, taking out Read i think it was, consequently getting stretchered off then returning to the field during the 4th & continuing to throw himself in with reckless abandon whilst being under obvious distress with his knee, was absolutely inspirational. He also kicked 2.2, hope hes good to go next week. Really glad we have Twomey, great to see Yarran stand up & be a match winner, has to do the same next week for us to have any hope. Cant say enough about our defence, they won us this game, Stevo, Leishman, Rumble & of course Twomey, tight. Bristow was good as usual & Phelan had a good duel with McGough. I thought Halligan did enough to hold his spot, but with players possibly coming back he may be playing joondy early on. We were bad for most of the 3rd against the breeze, need to play much better for 4 qtrs to trouble the ferals but stranger things have happened. Fine & 30 the forecast at this stage. Well done old easts on a good game today & a pretty good season.

EF's kicking at goal let this one slip Freeze and they did so in complete contrast to their accuracy last week against SD. As my boss said to all week it's more important to beat SD than lose to EP. Honestly don't believe there was too much between all 3 teams in Subi, EF & SD in 2014 however I think we'd both concede Subi were slightly ahead this year. A very even team across the board that play well together. Deserve to be recognised as the best team in 2014 as much as it pains me to say that.

i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Twomey was the difference. There you go Singha, that's how well spent I think your money was. Wish we could have kept him at SD but the benefits are we blooded some handy half back types in season 2014. Hope this provides the difference our way next season.

As for the exhibition match I hope your blokes injure every bloody AFL listed player they carry in to the game. As a club I'd also be getting legal advice to the validity of the salary cap rules imposed on 7 clubs in the comp that dont apply to the aligned clubs...the blokes that run the comp are so incompetent it wouldn't surprise me if they pushed through an amendment to the constitution which could be deemed as illegal and against the spirit of the WAFL when viewed from a legal angle....7 teams with strict salary caps...the other 2 have single players busting those salary cap conditions. Would be worth a look. I'd also be calling a head count every couple of mins during the game. Some of them Eagles blokes heads are so inflated they might get counted as 2. Would also be a way to keep your blokes rested and extend the game in to a 4 hr contest. At that stage half them Eagles boys would have lost interest and be thinking of what's trending on twitter etc......happy hunting to y'all

If Horse can't get up for next week I say we stick Priddis in jumper #5 and shave his head.

The Sharks set many unwanted records in this one. Congrats Subiaco and good luck next week.
