Always looks bad when there is a big turnover of players, but this can be good sometimes in that the younger players get an opportunity. Remember thinking same at end of 2003 when we turned over about 18 guys I think and we know how that ended!

We definitely did need a clean out but don't like losing players with their best footy in front of them like Worthington and Lee. Blechynden will be back next year so that's a plus.

But yeah, most of the players who have departed were treading water at best or in decline or just not quite up to league standard. So, not too many dramas.

I also rated Wortho but I did notice a few times last season he didn't have the same desire as the year before. I expected him to come on a bit more last season but it wasn't to be. I hope he hangs around as he has the skill and can read the play well. These are the type of players that every team needs and he is capable of being a 100 game WAFL player.

Lets see what happens ???

I also rate Worthington as a player and am disappointed if he doesn't play this year. Don't know anything about Lee but obviously rated by LH. Unfortunately we can't create desire to play when this is lacking (personally can't understand anyone with ability not wanting to use it).
Would rather have a team of players with full commitment.
