Spoke to a colts player today. They start training tonight. 

There's a pic of the 82 or 83 side, in the Subi hotel. The owner told me he's a Claremont man, surprisingly. Great collection of Subi memorabilia nonetheless. 

Anyone go to the agm last night? Any news?

That’s true JL also Putt ( taking up a waterpolo scholarship) and Breman gone . Atkinson is going to live in the Cayman Islands as his partner has secured a job there.  Have picked a young ruckman from Esperance 203 cm and Henry Berenger from Victoria a 193 cm back man as well as Chris Scott ex east freo. 

Chris Scott has some talent but Subi are becoming a bit of a dumping ground for EF rejects. Not many positive stories bar Harry Marsh.

Scott definitely  talented  but apparently didn't like Monaghan's post match feedback one week, packed his kit and went back up to Gero mid season.....comes from the same club as Alone, so I guess it was always going to be on the cards.....Hopefully Wardman is less abrasive then Bill......good luck  to the kid.....

Thanks JL, Jjim. Tbh the younger Matera only really showed something when he had a really good patch a few seasons ago but then got injured, other than that, average. The older one didn’t really live up to his potential, very patchy but did usually demand a top opposition defender. Putt may have developed in the ruck but a bit too short and a better water polo player than footy, good luck to him. Breman wasn’t a patch on his old man, handy but inconsistent. The new defender from vic looks ok, we definitely need a couple of good big key defenders, hopefully he becomes one of them. Still need a top experienced mid or two in mid 20’s yo and a big chf plus the key defenders to push for a finals berth imo. Jjim did they mention that our recruiting was done at the agm? If so we are in for another tough year I think 

…On another note young Finley Henderson looks interesting, Campbell’s bro I’d say. 195cm 95kg 16yo!

No mention that the recruiting was finished ,but we should have a few points to play with if someone comes up. 
Not sure if they have anyone else in mind but did mention that 16 of last years colts currently training with the league squad too. 

DG if Mayo's knees can hold together he will more than cover CHF, he did his knee in the first pre season match this year will have had a full year of rehab under his belt, fingers crosses as a fit Mayo will be a handful for opposition backs. Some obvious holes to fill, Clarke fills the major one, but I don't mind if the club intends to give our youngsters more of a go. Our 16's teams have been dominant for a few years now, colts made the prelim and ressies won the flag so a bit to work with. If we were to make the 5 in '23 I'd be pretty happy. It's all about keeping your best 22 on the paddock, something we couldn't do in '22.
