Another poorly handled situation by the coalition. If it is just about Joyce splitting with his wife and hooking up with his secretary, then it's nobody's business apart from those concerned and to have Shortarse and the lab's along with the Turnbull lib's being hollier than thou about the morality, then they should have bloody good look in their own back yards, there are skeletons galore in both. If it can be proven that Joyces secretary was given a job that she was not experienced or qualified for then thats a separate issue all together.

Our supposedly national capital is not called Blundersville for nothing.

Lord Malcolm needs to do two things:

sack him from the cabinet
begin a public inquiry into his allegged corruption

This should concentrate a few minds in the National Party and force him out.

People, such as, Drum and Caravan will not want to be investigatted for their role in the affair, unless of course, they are happy to go down with Joyce.

This issue was well known to many including Turnbull during the by election, this then begs the question why is it now such a moral issue for Turnbull when it wasn't when he was hanging onto his slim majority.

Not too many in politics fly too high in the integrity stakes, Malcolm flies as high as the rest of them.

Unfortunately Turnbull needs the Nationals support to keep governing so he may need to compromise even though this mob of so called supporters of regional australia are and always have been a collection of eccentrics and nut jobs. If not for the coalition the Nationals would be a right wing version of the Greens and just as irrelevant.

Not quite, there is a difference between the Nats and Greens, whilst acknowledging eccentrics/nut jobs etc. The Nats do actually care about ordinary Australians, whether they have decent jobs. The Greens on the other hand, well, its more about what you uneducated people don't know and we are here to guide you from our privileged positions sitting sipping h2o (stilled) and an expresso in the inner east of Sydney or Fitzroy in Melbourne.

If the Greens are so evil, can you please explain why the Liberals are not standing a candidate in the by-election in Batman?

For those who like good old fashioned Western movies it seems that we have a metaphorical gun fight between Turnbull and Joyce. And what usually happens in a gun fight? One or both get shot and both don't survive.

I can't see Joyce surviving and it will become a matter of whether Turnbull can survive based on what and when he knew and what his office sanctioned in terms of approving staff appointments.

This is a guy who slammed the SSM ,run on a platform of religion and family first.
When it also involves the job selection for his girl friend , then it becomes our right to know.
