Mindboggling people still vote for Palmer given his history, on top of that Kelly is an absolute scum bag, then there's the fanciful policy of freezing interest rates which is impossible to do without a communist like economy.
Well who are you going to vote for or have already? I hope you didn't vote for McGowan at the last election because I find that quite mind boggling how anyone couldn't see his true colours.

It's really quite simple, if none of the majors really impresses you then why vote for them? By voting for someone other than the Coalition or Labor you are making a statement and having your say.

The fact is one of those two will govern, we all know Palmer's or Pauline's policies will never be implemented because they have no chance of governing. Same with the Greens' and any other wannabe's.
I'm a postal voter so voted a few weeks back, went for the Libs in Curtin, I refuse to vote for a one policy Teal like Chaney who cannot outline her stance on major issues like the economy, tax, defence, foreign affairs China, LNG resources and state development, immigration and so on I that I realy care about and put WA Party No.1 in the Senate just to mix things up a bit and Libs second, no mate did'nt vote for Sneakers, and my State seat in one of the few Libs in the State.

Hey Baz.  Do you know where the WA Party is sending its preferences in the Senate and Reps?  I had a look on their website and nothing there.  I'd be inclined to give them a go in Freo but not if they're preferencing some of the other weird and wonderfuls.

Sorry mate no I don't but I always do my own preferences all the way to the last box.  Greens are always stone motherless last.

Hey BC I heard one of the Wa Party people on the radio. They have no preference deal with any Party. Its up to the voter who they preference.. Probably why they don't hand out how to vote cards.

I’m going by colours. Dark green (Senate); blue; black and gold; those independents (teal, grey..) masking as light greens; queensland floggers – orange, yellow; red; then hypocrite light greens.

Ok..Thanks mate.  They have how to vote cards on their website but it doesn't list preferences.  They ask people to vote for them 1 above the line on the senate ballot so they must have preferences registered with the AEC somewhere but they just don't tell anyone.

I feel like this one of the most important elections in the last 10 to 15 years. I think we need change so I’m hoping for a convincing Labor win by a majority of at least 6 seats. They’ll need that kind of buffer to account for the usual scandals and subsequent resignations or defections as an independent. It’s going to be a very bloody interesting day. Hopefully we know who is PM by tomorrow night. If not that spells bad news.

I guess the next question is who will take over the leadership of the Libs when ScoMo gets the arse? Frydenburg was an obvious choice but it looks like he'll get bumped due to Labor and Green preferences going to the independent so who else is there? Dutton, Ley, Tehan are either on those nose with voters or not strong performers so I'm not what the alternative is.

FMD CH7 showing LNP 50 ALP 22. obviously a long way to go and these crazy preference deals to play out but could be another boilover.

LNP 45 to ALP 42 on the politically neutral ABC 4 to other and 60 in doubt.

Yep ABC now showing ALP 59 LNP 46 . Antony Green believes Labor will win more seats but unclear whether they'll have a clear majority.
