This decision was taken by the local electrol Commissioners without court action from Team Trump. Some type of voter irregularities have been found in all 3 states.
Firstly voter irregularities occur in every election and it’s a long way from systemic voter fraud at a scale which would influence the outcome of election across a state.
Each state has different rules about election recounts - some don’t allow them, others require as few as 3 constituents to lodge a request with a $50 deposit and others have automatic recounts if the margin is close. In Georgia it’s requires a margin 0.5% or less. Wisconsin less than 1%.
The same differences in state electoral rules exist with mail in ballots, when the cut off time is to accept and count them after election day. Only 21 states accept them after election day with some still accepting them until the 12th November.
Trumps going to keep making unfounded accusations for as long as he can, as his own team have admitted, not one person has put their name to an affidavit to support any allegations. All states have until 8th December to finalise any results contested in court and finish recounts.
Most recounts only see a few hundred votes withdrawn, Trump needs 200k+ Biden votes removed across 4 states.
Even if he gets 50k+ changed across the 3 closest states, he still won’t change the Presidential election result.
The other thing to note is that in the case of Penn. it was the Republicans who refused to allow them to adopt the Florida system of early counting of postals, that is count them as they arrive giving you a far quicker result as was the case in Florida, the democrats wanted this implemented in Penn as well because as we have seen with Florida it gives a far clearer result quicker, instead the GOP wanted to keep the older count the in person votes first and the postals after closing day, which is why there were 1.1 Million envelopes piled up waiting for counting, this is exactly the issue the republicans are now complaining about.
Also interesting to note is that yesterday Trump filed his first writ against the State of Penn to stop all vote declarations based on fraud. The only problem was they failed to attached a single affidavit of evidence in the submissions.
It also hasnt taken long for the Trumpers to decry the fact that the judge assigned to case was a Obama appointee, and of course he would be anti Trump, the only problem was a bit more research revealed the judge was a registered republican for about 30 years, because that's what decent Presidents do, they appoint judges across the political divide, now the hardcore nutter Trumpers are saying he is "fake" republican a democrat spy who has pretended to be a republican for 30 years.
Because that's what you do when you are going down with the Trumptanic.
