Hey BC you are a bit of an old Freo boy, you know the Esplanade there was quite a few pioneer statues down there, a few have been re labelled with a new narrative, although I don't really agree with the contents of the re lable I think its a lot better than tearing them down, let people make their own minds up, also the Captain Freo one was removed ( apparently he had a dodgy rape allegation ) but I was thinking exact same thing about C Y O'Connor , wont be long before they find some dirt on him and tear him down.

Apparently Sir John Forrest ( kings park) , Capt Stirling and J S Roe are in the firing line this weekend with the protest and cops will be on guard at them.

All because of something that happened in a mediocre yank city.

Just belt out the statistics and create a "view" that somehow WE are responsible for the 432 indigenous deaths in custody since 1991.

The Left are desperate to label us all "racist” and for no other end than to convince gullible young kids and the general population to get out on the streets and cause destruction and chaos because "the cause" mandates the unlawful behaviour.

Not a single Aboriginal inmate has been murdered by a police officer in Australia since the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody in 1991 a fact conviently ignored by the ABC and SBS.

The Australian Institute of Criminology reports are a good read.....

(1) Apprx 10 Aboriginal inmates die in the Australian prison system each year, at a rate BELOW Non-Indigenous prisoners.
(2) 58% of Aboriginal deaths in jail are due to natural causes mainly those on long term sentences.
(3) 37% die from suicides/drug overdoses
(4) The rest being 5% from fights and other causes.

Of the 10 deaths each year 6 deaths are related to police chases which are included in the stats!
