You just leave the trading and evaluations to the experts hey champ and don’t worry your little self.

Poor little pet is out of his depth here.

He is gallantly trying to keep up so you hang in there Spud. Will get with it maybe when comprehension kicks in that Melbourne were not offering Langdon 900k a year or anywhere near it - hence perhaps he is worth just a tad less at the trade table.

Oh yeah, that's right, footballs new dynamite football manager has changed the game by demanding offered contracts now dictate the trade terms.

Nevermind what a club needs and are prepared to pay, talk about trying to keep up.. how do I insert the laughing face emoji??

Peter Bell stated at the end of the trade period how he was disappointed how things were reported. Confirmed by St Kilda GM that their intital offer for Brad Hill was in fact pick six and a future THIRD ROUNDER. Fremantle ended up with pick 10, pick 58, future second rounder and Blake Acres in exchange for Brad Hill and think it was future third rounder.

Where are you SPUD?

Freo lost arguably their second best player in Hill, lost Langdon, couldn't land pick 6 & bought in 2 x B graders in Acres & Aich ??

A lot of clubs landed A graders during the trades.

History tells us they will butcher the draft picks they received......

Its great that you are up and about based on the above :woohoo:

Spud no Fremantle supporter denies losing Hill is a big blow but he didn't want to leave, it was Misses Hill who didn't like the post code. Apparently the post code of St Kilda is very appealing to Misses Hill along with Brad's 900k a year salary x 5.

In case you have forgotten I'll remind you, we gave Hawthorn pick 22 for B. Hill which was the compensation pick for Chris Mayne.

So in effect we've turned pick 22 into pick 10 improved this years second round pick from 26 to 22,get St Kilda's second round pick next year and get two players in their early 20's that were pick 19 and 7 when drafted. Not hard to work out we've had a big win overall even for a spud like you.

there was 2 decent players who moved clubs - Kelly and Hill.
the rest were bit part players in their teams.
Langdon cant kick, not that good a player.
Freo's biggest problem is keeping blokes on the park

Dynasty... I will let you in on a little secret about drafts picks, they guarantee nothing. Gold coast post 8years.. Carlton & Fremantle post 20 years... hint, hint.

Maybe I don't understand, are draft picks for Freo like winning a derby against the Eagles?? is that what it is?

But you take your B Graders that will replace Neale & Hill and go celebrate. Meanwhile, if you want an example of how to recruit for a premiership, take a look at what hawthorn have been doing the past 3 years.

Peter Bell has told the west he wants to be known as a tough negotiator.
Not the kind of thing a tough negotiator actually says but there you go.

Is this a hobby listed on your resume Spud or is it more like a passion or an obsession? If it’s the former that’s ok it’s healthy but if it’s an obsession then you need help.
