I'm still yet to see any official news only speculation mainly led by Colin Young who said yesterday arvo the deal will get done early morning or possibly this evening (last night). So seems to me still a lot of argy bargy going on. Freo want pick 10 which they now have but want next year's first rounder. I think that's the sticking point.

Bell should tell St Kilda to stick it and make Hill play out at least one of his 2 years left on his contract in 2020 at Fremantle!

StKilda have already spent heavily in this draft.And look to have done quiet well with there trading.But look like they have taken Fremantle for granted here.There's not much left for a 3 time premiership player who is also one of Freo best players.Granted Brad's been offered a big pot of gold at the Saints.But they have forgot Freo in all this.Hope Geelong trump the Saints and get BH.North Melbourne should also have a crack at BH.

Freo could come out of this deal with 10, future first round pick and Blake acres as the saints have put themselves in the same position Gold Coast did with Wellar (presenting the contract before the deal is done, that's why the suns had to cough up pick 2). The saints need to clear some players from it list to fit them all in. At this stage 4 out, Stevens makes 5 and hoping for 5 in plus what you have to take in the draft, would be a few nervous saints at the moment. Acres could just be thrown in as a bonus as they need to free spot on their list for the draft and to give some extra salary cap space to cover all the new recruits.

FMD never had it done but I imagine it’s like having your wisdom teeth pulled this trade week bullshit. So looks like EVENTUALLY Brad Hill goes to St Kilda for picks 10 and 58, next years second rounder plus Blake Acres.

Blake Acres looks like a handy addition, tall big bodied mid originally from WP. Also making a play for James Aish and previously been talk during this period about Connor Menadue and Kamdyn McIntosh from the Tigers.

Just been made official. As above but Dockers gave up future 3rd rounder for a future 4th rounder. Welcome aboard Blake Acres.

Peter Bell stated at the end of the trade period how he was disappointed how things were reported. Confirmed by St Kilda GM that their intital offer for Brad Hill was in fact pick six and a future THIRD ROUNDER. Fremantle ended up with pick 10, pick 58, future second rounder and Blake Acres in exchange for Brad Hill and think it was future third rounder.

Freo lost arguably their second best player in Hill, lost Langdon, couldn't land pick 6 & bought in 2 x B graders in Acres & Aich ??

A lot of clubs landed A graders during the trades.

History tells us they will butcher the draft picks they received......
