You would think the saints pick 6 would be a good start after what you see the eagles have given up for Kelly. The Dockers could then try to do a deal with the cats who have made it known they want to move up the draft order possibly turning 7 into 2 later first round picks

Not sure either Hill is anywhere near as good as Kelly.

You would think that losing Hill and Langdon Fremantle need to somehow get a proven player into their midfield rather than just picks

Saints have swapped pick 6 and 59 for two first rounders, picks 12 & 18 with GWS so I reckon Fremantle will be asking for those picks.

I thought pick 6 was a fair pick for Brad Hill. To find out today that the Saints offered us pick 6 and a future second round pick I thought was an even better deal. Not sure why we didn't take it.

We could have then done the deal with GWS and had picks 7, 12, 18, 26 as well as two second round picks for next year.

I'm hoping Bell knows what he's doing and has a plan up his sleeve.

Didnt Brad Hill win Fremantle's F&B Doig Medal (and another Top 3 placing) as well as being a 3 x Premiership player very good foot skills and is without doubt the elitist runner in the comp?
Plus he has 2 years left on his contract.
Seems to me it is St Kilda who have way undervalued his worth not Fremantle!

Absolutely he did in his first year at Fremantle but had a much better year this year IMO. He is the best two way runner in the comp for metres gained. And you’re absolutely spot on again, it’s St Kilda who have under valued Brad Hill not the other way around but as usual, any opportunity to bash up on Fremantle is pounced on and by the media also it seems. In the meantime Fremantle have made 3 first class appointments off the field and that doesn’t get recognised while another big AFL club is imploding.
